It does kinda look like a huge radiator for one. My best guess is it's a safety thing. This one looks real similar to the one in a couple of my other videos out by turner falls. And thanks for the comment.

I'm curious as to what laws are in place for under 249g toy drones that were violated. Not being a jerk in asking. Genuinely do not know. 1 I'm pretty sure if there is contact between the drone and the giant turbine it would feel nothing. The only loss in the crash would be mine. Again you're not the 1st person to express this concern and it makes me worry about pissing on this fun for other hobbyist so please respond.

Side note. Even though my posts are public I make them for my daughters so they can see cool stuff DADDY does when he's not at home. The added attention is cool, yes, but not my intention or reason for posting.

I don't like limiting the yaw. I wouldn't want to be in a position where I needed it to react fast and I have it to retarded for what I need it to do. That said. I get what you are saying. I noticed it as well and thought I should work on smoother stick movements.

I think it was dodging the actual birds that got curious and kept flying near it. I was a good 20' up from the surface. I did here that they can act weird over water. Even with the Mini2

Very cool, im new at posting so sorry for the l0ng video. ill learn how to edit sooner or later, 1st time i took my mini 2 out of where i can catch it from is when i broke that "far away" fear. DJI tech has not let me down yet.

On this flight I was flying with the DJIRC. I had just got a mic with a USB C end on it that you can plug into the slave port on the DJIRC for audio during screen recordings and wanted to try that out as well. I seem to get better distance results with the RCN1. Using a range extender and locked into 5.8 GHz I've gotten as far as 3.5 miles in mildly populated areas. i was expecting to get the box advertised 6.2 miles on this flight. I forgot one of the blades had a nick on it. i suspect thats why I had to cut the flight short. I'm new at posting stuff. so im not sure the correct sign off.. LIKE AND SHARE

I havent posted the video yet. the MINI3 PRO did awesome dodging curious sea birds while I was testing Activetrack while I was in the water. I'm very new at posting still bouncing around diff apps and software for editing. mostly Ive been using RUclips Studio and Chimpchamp. This video is raw. I do intend on trying to ff edit some parts of it. The mic was a random impulse buy off amazon. I found out the slave port on the controller will take a mic with a USB C plug on it and bought the cheapest thing I saw for a test. CULILUX is the only marking on it. Guess i should be like those pro utubers and start adding links for all my gear.

still a learning curve here. i forgot i posted the active track test already. i havent been on the channel in a couple weeks. got back on to post something and saw all these questions and got straight to that.
