I want to play this in an orchestra before I die... As a side note, I don't know why, but there's something almost magical about the sequence roughly between 41:43 to 41:55, and in particular the part from 41:50 to 41:55. I don't know what it is, something about the way the different parts, the different layer mix and interact with each other, I don't even know how to describe what it does to my brain. It's like you want to reach out and grab it, capture it, get more of it.

Most wholesome and warm sound I have heard from grade school students.

This is a recording of pure savagery. Nowadays, the Sacre has the attention of the masses, but "L'oiseau de feu" has the charm of semi-tonality to it, while balancing atonality. Brilliant! :)
