Doing a great job.
Asom has different designs. Most of them connect to the wheel. I considered the seatpost connection but I figured it would interfere with my bike rack. So I McGyvered a different connection elsewhere on the frame
I bought a frame clamp connector and installed that because the original quick connection caused interference with my panniers.
@@dscarpediem1 my solution was a frame clamp meant for mounting motorbike mirrors with a bolt and locking nuts to attach the receiver to the bottom of the seatpost. The wagon rides a little high but it's better than it dragging with the smaller wheels my bike has, if I mounted it on the wheel like it's supposed to
That co-op is very nice. Ive only visited a few tomes though
In my opinion, the best Coop in the city.
It seems everytime I visit Fish Creek. I find paths I haven't explored yet. The park is massive
I agree. Paths every direction, it seems.
Ive done these paths, theyre some of my favorite to ride
We enjoyed them a lot. It turned out to be a long day for us coming from the northwest.
Wonderful infoThank you for this interview. With these wonderful people
Thank you.
I live nearby and hear the train whistle every day, I just love it.
Right on, reminds you of a more peaceful time.
I got up close at a stop. The smell of oil and steam is very heady.
They’re such class
Yes they are.
Love the steam engines.
Don ... thanks for taking the time to explore Calgary on your e-bike. Your videos have given me an insight into areas of Calgary that I may want to ride. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Thank you, David! We traveled to Ralph Klein last week, just working on that now. Part 1 will be out in a week or so I believe.
This was an amazing adventure.
Next to the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is Annie's Cafe featuring a variety of treats, refreshments and ice cream. Yummy!!!
Thanks for that tip!
Wow, thanks for the bike tour. You sure make someone want to go where you have .
Always!
Great trip, wonderful info. Thanks for another fantastic.video.
Wonderful video content. Well done and informative. Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So many helpful insights. Thank you for the hard work you put into your videos
My pleasure!
Loved the daring jump !! Good info wonderful trip. Thanks for taking 7s along
Thanks for watching
What is that chain on the side contraction called please?
I have no idea. I believe it is used to stabilize the fuel tank. I broke mine off by accident within a week!
@@dscarpediem1 - I found out it’s to insert a match on the end to manually light the grill if necessary. I kept looking for an answer and found it. Thanks for responding !!
Awesome views and info BRAVO !!!
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for sharing this video. Heritage Park is a wonderful place to visit.
Yes, it is. Calgary is lucky to have it!!
All four parts of the Nose Hill adventure has provided an insight to Calgary's pathways . Thanks for the 'Biker's Eye-View'
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have you made your trek to Bowness Park yet?
@@dscarpediem1 Not yet. But it's on my 'to ride' list.
Also, the trailer not being a thing in itself, what happens when it’s got 40-50kg on?
I don't know about the weight you mentioned, but we have had it packed in well from a shopping trip. It towed very well with no more than expected drag and tracked well to the towing bike.
So, the rear rack is holding the trailer?
Our racks are very sturdy and had no problems holding the wagon even fully loaded.
I've considered venturing to to Bowness but was unsure of the routing. This video has given me an insight into the ride. Thanks
That's what I am hoping my videos would do.
I watched to figure out how to get the heat shields in...but could not see you place them.
Only fit one way, turn them end for end until they nestle in.
Wonderful video. Thanks for the useful info and for letting me tag along
Any time!
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Bought mine last week from Costco for $49.99
Great price.
Awesome info. Interesting video to watch
Glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful video. Learning from you everytime
I appreciate that!
I've had the same one for 45 years and I absolutely love it!
My second, I gave one to one of my sons.
Thanks! I just got one and after first use it wants to bind/ pinch before it unlocks..any advice on a fix?
I'm not sure. It will loosen up after some use. Hopefully, that will take care of that.
@@dscarpediem1 actually got lucky and found/fixed it yesterday thank the lord. The right arm was slightly rubbing and pinching the action
Appreciate your cautions and insights on biking these pathways
Hopefully it will prevent injuries and accidents.
AWESOME video as usual. Really enjoy your view on biking.
Is it convertible to natural gas?
I don't know, you would have to contact the manufacturer.
Can you adjust it up and down for your bike size
The hitch is attached by a spring, so you have some play and ability to adjust to different bikes.
@@dscarpediem1 ok thanks 😃
can you connect this grill to a 1 pound propane tank?
Yes, I used an adapter so I could use a 20lb. cylinder which works out much cheaper in the long run.
Does it have a grease tray?
Yes
Nice to hear your voice. Great video as usual. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, you too!
Thank you for this
I purchased this grill at COSTCO for $149.99 CDN this spring. I love it so far. Now, if I could only find that table to put it on. Walmart may have something cheap, even though I try to never go there.
I bought a NiceC folding table from Amazon just to use the grill. Works great and folds up to take on the road if desired.
I did a review on the NiceC folding table last year. Great little table.
Can you check to see if a grill top will fit on the grates for a morning meal? Here are the Dimensions: 22”W x 16”H.Thanks, (2/3 Griddle for Primate)
This grill is 24" x 14", so you would have some overhang.
@@dscarpediem1 Wonderful, I appreciate your quick reply
@@dscarpediem1 Overhang is better than having a hangover.
Whew... what a workout ride. Glad I have such an awesome leader /guide. Great video
We'll do better next time.
I just got one. I really like it. Though I realized that though the clamp is one handed you still need to make sure both sides are tight.
Yes I agree.
Than you for all the good information about this grill. I just bought one from costco looks like a great deal i hope to enjoy the most from this grill 😊
Glad I could help.
Saw this for $100 at Costco i been think about it
Good buy!!
Does the quick release pivot to attach horizontally? Or just vertical? Trying to attach to back of rad wagon 4 frame near brake light Thanks
No, it does not. That would be a nice feature, though, as that would have worked better for my application
So, is it still working?
Yes, still working as new!
I just got my Breville and it's good to know it will age well. Thanks for your review, it's indeed very informative and interesting.
Thanks for watching
Any cover to purchase seperate for this grill?
Not that I know of. Measure, you may find one close from a hardwate store, though.
