Just a guy who loves motorcycles, and riding!!!! I got off the street when my daugther was born, and have been riding dirt every since. I ride mainly trails, and occasionally some MX tracks, but try to stay away from the huge jumps. I'm a Vet C rider, but working on getting better/faster riding trails. I'm a FTR (Florida Trail Riders) member, and race in their Hare Scrambles. Currently Riding a 2019 KTM 350XC-F. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questons about the bike or just want to talk riding!

FTR HS #5 Mondon Hill, finally got a decent start but the mud in the cow pasture got me! Saturday was super slick and muddy after the rain!
2023 KTM 300 XC test ride!!!!👀

My buddy Richard let me ride how 2023 KTM 300 XC with KYB forks. I don’t recommend riding it if you don’t want to have the urge to buy one. I had a 2022 300 XC and the changes made for 23 make a huge difference! The bike felt like it lost 100lbs. Very light feeling, and has all the power! Now I want to ride the new updated 4-stroke 250/350 xcf to see the difference. Overall review from a Senior...

FTR HS #6 Mondon Hill (Full Race Uncut)
What were your thoughts? I ride FTR too.
It’s crazy light, and goes where you want it. Soft clutch pull, all the power, and doesn’t stall. I had a 22 300xc and the updated 23 is way better! I’d buy another one tomorrow if I could afford it. lol
How did you actually move the stem? Do you twist it or slide it?
It pops out, just needs a little help pressing it out.
@donyellewilliams2643 thanks for the reply. Do you mean, remove the stem completely from the lower clamp?
Yes, once you break the bolt loose, it will slide out of the lower clamp. Rotate it 180 to adjust the offset.
After you changed this did you alter your fork height or sag ?
I left the fork height the same and sag the same at first, then had the sag checked shortly after. I didn’t notice a huge difference. I no longer have the bike, but if you want the bike to tip over in turns a little easier you could adjust the fork height.
I have a 96 I am restoring, I am curious was what required to do the 09 front end conversion?
-shave steering stop down on frame to fit newer triple clamps. (Just a little for clearance of damper mount) -Allballs has a conversion kit chart on their site -steel frame has different bottom bearing, top bearing is the same. -steering stem is same length -you’ll need a front caliper hanger for year forks you’re doing. -front axle for that year fork -96 front wheel/spacer will work Hit me up if you have any more questions.
FIRST !!! Cool fast ride.
FIRST !!!!!!
I used to like less offset on the older 2 strokes. Gonna try the 20 setting on my 450. Just for the sake of saying , I always feel the opposite of what the engineers say I should feel. My bikes used to gain front wheel traction and better turning with lower offset.
I went 20mm offset on my 95 CR250R. Has a planted feel and has more stability through whoops. I ride woods a lot, 20mm offset is the move in my opinion. I ride woods in FL.
P r o m o S M 😒
Classic decals go hard man
Appreciate it! I tried to keep it OG, but rideable!
Beautiful bike man. I'm going to be building the exact same bike. 95 is my favorite year. Are those original graphics and the shrouds or did you use something aftermarket because if you did I would like to know what brand it was. Thank you so much thank you so much buddy.
www.throttlejockey.com/ they have everything. Original purple shroud, and graphics kit. Good luck man. Let me know if you have any questions.
Wish you had more of the race on video. you and me stayed neck and neck out there
My computer is acting weird so I had to use my phone app. I’ll try to get the whole thing.
What page is this on?
I found it online. I feel like it has to be in the manual for the factory bikes. Since their the only ones that come with them.
How’s it feel at 20mm?
Bike feels planted, and more stable over the 22mm offset. I race a lot of hare scrambles in FL.
Nice ride
Thank you!
I was in the same boat. Used all my energy first lap and rode the struggle bus after.
I’ll be at Croom all weekend if you’re free! I need to get in riding shape 😂
@@donyellewilliams2643 I'm working all weekend 😪 I go during the week. Try to avoid weekend crowds
@@laurafy I wish I could go during the week! I work M-F
I lowsided at T8 last year. Almost twinning
Hopefully you and the bike didn't take too much of a beating. I need to get back out there!
@@donyellewilliams2643 bruised ego and needed new fairings luckily. i was back out within the day. hope you can asap
that is pretty solid riding. beautiful lines, consistent, smooth ride. I would say your lines are better than a lot of 1.20 vids i have seen with "advanced" riders... a little too early on gas like you said on 8, happens to everyone. well done. i timed you around ~1.30. i think you can immediately shave another few seconds by staying on the lean at turn 12 when you get on gas, taking it faster, going wider out of the turn, instead of hopping your butt on the bike right when you get on gas. let the bike bring you back on it on gas. same after turn 14, don't hop the butt back on, stay on the lean, gas hard, go wider let the bike bring you up. i'd wager you ll gain immediate two seconds. great video!
Thanks man! You’re making me want to get another street bike to get back out there!👀
@@donyellewilliams2643 I just realized you posted this vid 5 years ago! :)) Oh well - haha
Thanks for posting!
If there are too many riders and we are too packed on the line they will start us on the bike, we never know till last minute if we start on the bike or run
My buddy has been racing Sportsman 1 and he said this was the first race they had everyone start on the bike. Mondon Hill usually has a big turnout.
ahh ok thanks
you did real good. can you tell me why your class does not have to run to start your bike, like the other class's? I have asked several other peoples vids, but no answer. Thanks
Yeah, sportsman 1 had about 52-59 riders start. There were two rows. So they had everyone start on the bikes when that happens.
@@donyellewilliams2643 ahh ok, thanks, was wondering what was happening.
Way faster than me!! Lol but Hey I have a blast and I finished! :)
That’s my goal every time out! Have fun, and finish! 💪🏾👍🏾
@@donyellewilliams2643 well, It looks like I'm 80 places behind you, hahaa. My husband did better in 66th Plc!! But totally a blast!. Good job to you!!
hell yeah donyelle. Keep working at it. Good job man
Good speed, great lap times, soon you'll be out of beginner class. I won that race last year in Senior C, but this year was a different story in Senior B lol.
Thank you! I always feel slow especially with the fast guys flying past me lol. Thinking of jumping in Vet C once they kick me out of beginner.
@@donyellewilliams2643 Vet C is a great class, I raced there for 3 seasons. It's a fast class but that'll help you. Also, I made good friends while racing Vet C.
you did good !!
I appreciate it! I’m always hard on myself 😂
Nice race! We will start coming to these in January!
Awesome man! It’s a good time! Lots of cool people!
Thanks!
@@donyellewilliams2643 yeah it looks like a blast! I’ve been talking to Olivier and he’s convinced us to do it. Plus my gf loves trail riding and isn’t a big track person so hate scrambles it is!
Hare*
@@justinstanko7142 yeah! I’m too old to be jumping stuff on the track lol. I try to stick to the trails! I hit any occasional double or table, but nothing crazy!
looking solid bro! see you in a few weeks!
Thanks brother! I’ll definitely be working on my endurance before the next one! 😂
That return against Dunedin, he almost dove in the sandpit 🤣✌️
alot of oil in that spot too...
Lol I was the big dude #69
BigSexy! I was trying to battle with you man!
Donyelle Williams haha I'll be there next week
Damn man! I just started my new job! I’ll hit you up next time I ride on the weekend!
Donyelle Williams yea forsure man follow me on ig __robb69
Track looks Prime!!
Outback is a good track. I always enjoy it.
Donyelle, you looked good out there man ... you definitely had a good roll going that last lap ... you were smooth and little more aggressive and sounds like you had a little more rpms in T8 than your previous laps. Glad your okay. High sides suck! Miss the track man!! To all at JGP, ride safe! Go Higgie #67
Thanks for the input! Got on the throttle a little too early.
Not to be an armchair QB but before I realized the title of the video and, ultimately, that you crashed; I thought you were going to crash in T8 every lap. You do a lot of things well, but in my opinion the biggest thing that sticks out to me is apparent by your body position--wayyy too much pressure on the bars. Highsiding on a 600/750 in 3rd gear would be proof of that. Get more comfortable (move the pegs/rear sets/clip on's/etc.) and get your upper body off the bike rather than the sway/hip twist method. In the future, when you're more comfortable and putting way less pressure on the bars (not pivoting on the bars/tank) I think you'll slide the rear in T8 and save it every time in the exact same scenario.Keep at it! The fun thing about bikes for me has always been that they're basically impossible to master...it's an ongoing lesson. Glad you're healthy!
Thanks! I need all the help I can get!
+Donyelle Williams No way,,,you're doing great! Just keep at it! I meant to ask: have you read the book 'Twist of the Wrist II'? I'll send you a link if not...
I've never read it.
Glad your ok. nice riding BTW. maybe I can try to keep up with you next time I'm at PBIR.
We are planning on PBIR for July 10th.
Are you ok?
I'm good man, just really sore. Nothing broken thank god!
