@@44pesGames I don't know but I figured it out, the template I used because I couldn't find the exact same as yours and the one I found and used wasn't the right size so the grid lines were off by a bit. Now it's fixed👍

Hi @simolani12 and thanks for the comment. I don't think I'll do Godot tutorials because to explain what is done in Godot I would have to talk and explain very well what is done and I don't see myself capable of that :(

@@44pesGames I can understand. In order to make this kind of tutorial pretty well it needs way more explanations and reasoning. But I know somehow it's possible. Take as an example 16BitDev. Anyway, thank you for what you've done and keep going ;)

Hi @metacobl, what you say is true, this is not a tutorial for beginners, you need to have a basic knowledge of inkscape and its keyboard shortcuts (listed in the video description). I'm sorry you couldn't follow the tutorial (maybe using the slow down option of the video will help you a bit), I recommend you start with a more basic tutorial if you're just starting out with inkscape.

This is what I do after changing the color of the inner rectangle to dark brown. 1. Move the green rectangle to the front 2. Move the small rectangle that hides the green to the front 3. Select those two rectangles 4. Make the difference between the two. To be left with only the upper half of the green rectangle I have to admit that even it has been a little difficult for me to understand what I was doing after so much time. Yes, it is a 'shift'+'ctrl'+'*' (intersection) - First I duplicate the circle ('ctrl'+'d') and move it to where I like it. - Then I duplicate the circle again - Finally I select the two duplicates and intersect them with 'shift'+'ctrl'+'*'

@@44pesGames man we need masking features like Affinity designer. Its such a fuss to first make obj then duplicate it and then remove fill and then set shades below stroke.

@@44pesGames so this is why your Inkscape runs smoothly without any lag or jitter. On windows If you have opened " Fill and stroke " panel and then you suddenly drag an object then object just does not move immediately. It just lags for a bit and then suddenly goes to the cursor position. Though it happens only once when object is selected first time. But happens to each object each time you reselect and drag ( I mean Selected object does not lag while moving but i di-select and select again and move suddenly, lag can be seen fore few 0.1 to 1 seconds ) But all of this does not happen when you have an opened layer panel. I hope am able to make you understand my point.

The shadows on the handle are another object, they are not a color gradient. What I did was duplicate the rectangle on the handle, shrink it and change the color.

The handle is made up of 3 objects in the following order: - Handle (rectangle) - Rectangle that simulates shadow (without strokes) - duplicate of the handle rectangle but without fill only the strokes
