Does this fixture only appear with the bowl version in UK or flat glass too?

Do you know why UK has photocells on every streetlight fixture instead of a controller for a whole area?

How do you even manage to get an old street light in the UK? I'd really like one of the fluorescent or metal halide ones that are slowly being replaced with (dimmer...) LEDs. I think you're doing the right thing by replacing all of the electronics. That's exactly what I'd do. Oh, and a new photocell as well; I wonder if the photocells letting go is why a lot of lamps dayburn?

Also LPS bulbs when nearing the end of their life stay red and very dim, I have seen some stay with a red light and another sign that LPS bulbs are very old or nearing the end of their life will be a fainter orange light compared to a new bulb

Wow I have never seen LPS eol! the HPS lamps when they are eol just turn off and on again for a while and repeat the same until the arc tube burns out and breaks and blackens the outer glass from the inside due to mercury vapor leakage! I don't know if the LPS bulbs do the same thing ie it goes off and on again for a while

im geting a Urbis Sapphier 1 from fenori ci, hoping to get it next month. Also i hope my fingers will be ok from the death clip! I have got 5 in the collection including a Urbis zx1 flat glass, urbis zx12 MH flat glass, Arc 90 and a AC ford, my traffic vision is only for spares as its not working

Would a SOX lamp that is flickering red continuously also be EOL?

Wow I've never seen an EOL event actually happening! You could hear the ignitor fighting hard to strike the lamp, but the arc tube finally failed allowing neon to escape into the outer envelope.

i've had tons of spiders in my Urbis Ampera mini 75watts that i had saved after a worker gave it to me plus it has been in service since April 2015 and had 2 false widows and 6-5 tini tiny spiders inside i also am making a video about my lanterns too.anyways how many spiders did you have in your gamma 6?🤟🤟🤟🤟

Why canopy in your opinion is flimsy? This is decent quality material, but a bit elastic because it is polypropylene

These Are On The A45 Between Rushden and Wellingborough Near Tesco They Have The Bowls On Them

There used to be one with zebra bowl in Sheringham but it has sadly gone to led along with a load of WRTL arcs. The arcs replaced some MA50s and some other SOX fittings. Street view shows it all going back to before 2010.
