What are Shoots you're wondering? Shoots are cuttings grown soilless to make them cheaper, lighter & easier to handle for local & international buyers. Like seedlings, the customer skips the germination period.
Shoots are mainly grown for international buyers as most countries require soilless propagation material. Proud of the team, of how we rose to the challenge of producing shoots (soilless seedlings) for our first order. They're now pros knocking them out effortlessly.

How to plant & irrigate Vertiver grass slips & Napier CO4 stem cuttings. There are other ways but this is the cheapest and easiest way to estastablish a plantation. Any upgrade ideas on this plough for sametime trenching+ridging?
Best to use a ridge maker. It makes perfect ridges & clean trenches (no cleanup needed) Problem is you'd need to plough &/ cultivate before running the ridger. With a plough you run the tractor 1 once with little cleanup after
I've been interested in a Vetiver/Tagasate/Moringa trio as silvopasture for Lanes between syntropic food forest contours. Tagasate is hard to acquire in the States, and Vetiver grows best from division and not seed. Any of you experiment with tagasate? Integrating tagasate with grass andMoringa to create nutrient dense rotational pastures?
Firstly sorry for the late reply... We want to start doing more on RUclips As for your question, no. We haven't tried Napier as a pasture grass because it's tough. Even Vetiver too. For pasture I'd go with Brachiaria & a pasture mix of your choice @ whatever ratio you see fit. We sell Mombasa (Bracharia variety) which is a fine seed that will mix well with your pasture blend

U can achieve meat production upto 40kgs from a sheep of 2 teeth age from Napier and Co4 kind of grass fodder but the quality of meat is poor and the leguminous fodder fed sheeps are having higher quality of meat compared to that and in growth too.
You're right 💯, we also feed our animals silage (maize, Lab lab, Brachiaria, Napier CO4 mix). The purpose of the video was to show the ease of use & how palatable Napier CO4 is

It is possible to pack 40-50 kg the grass into plastic bags, vaccum and seal the bag with heather, so the grass live fresh. @
