Bro show me around Bogota in February. All the food and drink is on me!!!!
Great video! Do you know if people get annoyed if you take videos ? Say for example at the market?
\Andres Carne de res is over priced, there are better places to go for mutch better prices.
Buenas tomas pero se siente falso de la verdadera Bogotá. No vi nada de barrios populares, comida callejera. Me hubiese gustado más realismo y no que parezca una ciudad gringa.
Love this showcase of Santa Fe de Bogotá... Love your crisp English. Que Divino
How is dating in Bogota is you're looking for local women as a foreigner guy?
@@guesswhosbackg6616 women always gatekeeping. Go back to ur cave lol 😂
This video has such unique details of Bogota... It really feels like recommendations of a Bogota resident. Hands down one of the best videos of Bogota tourism.
wow juan te felicito, que calidad tan excelente; la fotografia, la forma de presentar la informacion etc 👏 nueva subscriptora
scopolamine!
Agree to everything except Andres Carne de Res
This is probably the best RUclips video I've seen all year, and I watch a lot of RUclips!
This was great but I think you should've done it more like the Bogota video. Your English is pretty good, so there's no need to use AI, and we also missed seeing your personality on video!
Completely agree! We enjoyed the personal touch and prefer it over the AI voice. We did however get a laugh out of the pronunciation of CartaGeenuh
Gracias! This is very helpful. I'm considering a retirement to Bogota. If you happen to see this, could you answer a couple of questions, please? My research has shown that an ideal place for a guy like me (a senior citizen in their 60s who doesn't plan to have a car) would be the Santa Barbara neighborhood in Usaquen. I've found a specific area in Santa Barbara Central around Unicentro and Centro Comercial Santa Ana. Question 1: Is this place safe to walk at night? Question 2: What is the humidity like during the year? Again...great video. Thanks!
Es cierto, santa bárbara es un barrio tranquilo y de los mejores de bogotá. te recomiendo el centro histórico, Monserrate, barrio la soledad. Cerca páramo el verjon. Volar Parapente en la calera
@@carlosramirez8328 Gracias, Carlos! I regret that I cannot speak Spanish, yet. However, I have made that a requirement for retiring in Bogota. If I settle there, I want to be one with my new neighbors and friends. Thank you so much on the recommendations of these other barrios!
@@shyamdevadas6099 Hello, Bogotá is a great city. When you exit the airport, there’s a safe bus system right at the exit, or you can take a taxi, but they cost a bit more. You’ll go up Avenida 26, which is very nice, to head north to the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, one of the best neighborhoods in the city. The avenue that takes you there is "Carrera Séptima," and from there, you can reach downtown. I recommend visiting the Gold Museum, the Monserrate Church, which you can reach by cable car 🚠, and in the Macarena neighborhood, which is close to downtown, there are many good restaurants. Then there's the National Museum, the International Business Center, and the La Soledad neighborhood. If you have more time, you could go hiking in the El Verjón páramo in the mountains, and if you want, there's also a paragliding area in La Calera, which is a neighborhood on the outskirts of Bogotá. I'm a paragliding pilot if you're interested in flying.Cheers, I hope you have a great trip, but be careful with your phone, especially if you’re in the downtown area of the city
I'm not sure what your plans are once you have settled in, but if you're looking for a quiet, mostly safe area with most things (shops, supermarket, clinics) to be within reach (10-20 minute walk) then you have nailed it with your research. Santa Barbara is one of best places to live in Bogota. I'm a little biased because I live there, and rarely drive around. To answer your questions: 1 Yes, it is mostly safe to walk at night. I run almost every day and start at around 5:00 a.m. along Los Molinos creek (112 street) and it's easy to see quite a few people either walking, jogging, riding bikes or simple walking to and from their jobs. My wife and kids usually go out for a walk early in the evening (around 6) too. So, all in all, it's a great place to live in Bogotá. 2. I'm not an expert on this subject, but I don't think Bogotá is particularly humid. I mean, not in a way that makes you sweat, even when it's hot outside, but then again, you'd have to ask someone much more knowledgeable on the subject.
@@jorgerodrigueze Gracias, my friend. Thank you for your feedback. Actually, I think I was lucky to grasp something that most seem to ignore: the estrato system. Once I learned about it, I started to dig deeper. I uncovered the city government's estrato maps for Suba, Usaquen, Chapinero, and Teusaquillo. I reviewed every barrio and compared pricing of the housing. I'm just looking for a safe, suburban lifestyle. Lots of families and kids around. Close to shopping, hospitals, and service while being a bit further away from the craziness of the city center. I also like the idea of being close to the universities. When I've mastered Spanish, it would be nice to take some college courses. Thanks again, sir!
Hola Juan, que restaurantes me recomiendas que no pueden faltar?

Why are Latin American countries so dangerous? Is there a reason Latin people are just so bad like why?
