@@PreXionCBCT Ok, thank you. I tried to view the CD on my laptop and was able to see 3 views but I don't see a 3 dimensional of my entire skull. Do I not see everything because I need specific software or are there different types of scans, some with more views? If needed can I purchase software?

Comparing CBCT units can be quite daunting. Cost comparison involves purchase price as well as ongoing costs and fees. Warranties vary in length and items covered depending on brand. Training, service, and support vary across the industry as well. For image quality, you want to compare focal spots, voxel sizes, and number of projections. Smaller focal spot and small voxel sizes lead to clearer images. Higher volume of projections result in more detailed scans. CBCT imaging is vastly superior to 2D imaging like Panoramic x-rays. With 3D imaging like CBCT, clinicians are capable of viewing anatomy without distortion, in relation to all other anatomical structures of the patient.
