I’ve have nothing but Lowrance electronics, but I’ve never had anything but Minn Kota trolling motors. I know I lose out on some of the functions but I will always have MK TM’s.

My Quest mount lined up perfectly with the old Ultrex mount holes. Just needed to make the holes bigger for the bigger bolts.

what’s the difference between active target and live target

How in the world do you not have interference with the mega and the 360. I have a helix 12 for my mega and a helix 10 for my 360, the mega live is perfect when it’s on by it self but when I turn on the 360 I have lines on my mega live the, ( the helix 12) any advice would be greatly appreciated

Question about overlays. I have a Elite Ti2 unit. I have structure depth overlay showing on different pages I use. Problem is some pages show the depth reading and others dont. Any reason for this?

The ridged light and nose cone off of the original ultrex will bolt on BUT the nose cone on the quest has a magnet in it that tells the unit when the motor is deployed or stowed.

Garmin does not stand behind their products! I paid big money for what I was lead to believe were quality products Garmin 25kW GMR xHD2 Very low operating hours. DEAD, Magnetron is dead Garmin wants $2500 to repair it. Panoptix in hull transducer will not calibrate compass after a garmin update. Coupled to a Garmin 7610XSV that seems to be working fine. DO NOT BUY GARMIN

Hummingbird and Minn Kota sucks. The Garmin Force is 10 times better than any Minn Kota. Same with Hummingbird. They are junk

I don’t understand how this offsets the water level? If the lake is down 50ft this does not adjust the countour maps depth level ? With garmin if a lake is down 50ft you just adjust the water level to minus 50ft. And then it will adjust your countour maps depth accordingly. Lowrance you can not do this ? Is this correct ? How does doing the depth shading with lowrance adjust the countour lake levels ?

Jason and his Bass Boat Electronics team installed my Quest literally yesterday. These guys know all the ins and outs of installing these high end motors and electronics. Unbelievably good job. Optimized electrical system - wires, breakers, battery sources, cable placement, etc. Every little detail optimized. I know it was a job well done because they go out on the water with you to make sure everything is works as it should before you leave. Having your high end equipment professionally installed so that it functions at it’s maximum capability is the way to go in my opinion. Highly recommend!!!

I live just up the Clinch River, and for the last 2 years, watts bar is home for me. I am still pretty new to my Elite FS9 but because of the lower resolution of the Elite series,does it make sense to add Active Target if I understand this right? Been just using the 3-1 transducer so would this be the natural upgrade for the Elite?
