because poor people have expendable income to invest in things. Not like they're going paycheck to paycheck
if you invest 100$ a month from the age of 18 in the stock market at an interest rate of 5 to 10% each year, you can retire at 60 with anywhere from 250,000-550,000 dollars. 100 bucks a month. If you can’t figure out a way to to get that money, you simply don’t care enough.

Gerri's numbers intro was fire! I completely agree with Gerri about how mentorship is earned and shouldn't be inorganically 'forced.' Although I support intentional programs, I was also one of those new-college-grads that would see a VP I l respected and asked them to be my mentor without them knowing me. But over time I was lucky enough to have a handful of amazing mentors at Cisco. Of course, those happened organically. Also, Esther, your natural, articulate, conversational delivery makes me feel like I can barely speak... stop being so good!
