The security update on the 20th has now blocked the ability to use the Steam controller overlay, guessing it’s a thing to prevent people using plugins like a Kronos. Sucks so in the deep end trying mouse n key

@@fgousie I honestly don't know, I quickly Google it but didn't see anything at a glance. I kinda hope so, could I've been using MnK for menus and puzzles etc

@@Slayer-tv8ub could try adding it to your wish list I steam, not sure if that would now the Alpha has started, but could give it a try

there was a way to add non-steam games into the steam library. I also downloaded it on the launcher direct from their website. I'm gonna check if it works now.

@@Slayer-tv8ub this is a steam translation overlay, so I'd say probably not. You could try downloading steam and adding DF to your wishlist if you want to try the Alpha on controller

@@Slayer-tv8ub I was able to add it to steam as a non steam game, but it didn’t work. I downloaded REWASD software and I was able to play with my controller with that, however, it is extremely clunky and mapping vehicle buttons was complicated as well. It’s better to wait until they add controller support themselves or console release. I mainly play on ps5 and kbm makes me feel handy capped, so I feel everyone’s pain here lol.

Ok I have uploaded my settings to steam, you’ll just have to make adjustments in game for sensitive etc

prob not right now because its treating your controller like a mouse and keyboard. When they actually add controller into game then it might have aim assist

So I registered for the alpha and when they emailed me the invite, the email said it was in my steam library. From there I just downloaded as per normal and save a desktop short cut. Your not the only person that’s been having trouble, had a few now

Interesting because I did a direct download not via Steam. I didn’t have that option offered to me.

@@onegamerdad so I'm using a PS4 controller but can't imagine that would make a difference. Check the connection with the USB cable from controller to your PC 1st. Other than that launch the game through steam and follow what I did I the video

@@tr1pl741 go to your steam library that's where I downloaded and launched for the 1st time, after that I saved as a desktop icon to launch.

Oh I had previously added Delta Force to my Wishlist in steam

You could edit the layout to suit vehicles if you play havoc warfare, I’ve mostly played tactical turmoil

@@quinkussj K well have a problem I cant launch the game from Steam it just gives me an error when I launch the game telling me I have to launch the game from steam which I'm doing but I keep getting the error.

Have you tried googling the error? Doctor google normally has an answer

It a fair bit different from DMZ, going to put a few more hours in before I give 1st impressions. But we do need competition to DMZ for a casual extraction shooter. Activision have just left DMZ to slow decay. Hope games like Delta Force do well so Activision rethink DMZ and give it some attention/update’s

@@smarteveryday1606 yes the hit squads and crazy bots are out of control in DMZ. I've been using the spotter scope amd personal radar a fair bit lately. Using the spotter scope as slowed we down and made me look around more. Can help with avoiding other teams

@@perkaholic1865 the sniper team nest in Ahkdar Village has the 100% spawn stealth & Comms vests, if someone hasn't glitched in. You need one for the final barter for Serpentine camo. I've always liked the post office in Al Mazrah, a heap of loot. You can access the top floor of building 21 before the time unlocks, and the armory too.

So latest vid I helped a father son from the east coast of the US. With me being in New Zealand the ping was 200-300, to the UK would be another 100 on top. I’m not sure if I could be much help against another teams on that higher ping to be honest with you bud

@@quinkussj as a duo and in all honesty It felt more like the game wanted us to have it. lol Everything just fell into place and the other teams didn't want anything to do with us. Like 80% of the time we would have been easy kills, but nothing happened. lol

@@quinkussj yea I loved Vondel when it was first released its a solo’s playground and a regain go to for me……admittedly though I never used the loop and there were areas i just wouldn’t go…..but one of the first contents about loo……oh hang on 🤦🏽‍♂️….it was titled key chain….and it was about getting GPU’s from stage bag for upgrades……

I’m lucky enough to be able to play at all different times, I wouldn’t recommend trying Serpentine during peak times. Sweats would make it almost impossible, but definitely an awesome challenge
