Hey buzz….when I lived in Brisbane we would find that the brawn’s would school up in the deep hole on low tide especially in the smaller creeks…

outside of the bend in the very deep holes....bottom 1.4 of the tide

I love mustad demons for my bait rods in the holder for snapper in victoria. I just use a straight uni knot since the hook has a straight shank but a snell is slightly better. When pickers are taking your bait to quick use a bigger bait. With a bigger bait the pickers will try grab it but it gives the bigger fish time to get in on the action. I prefer whole flyer squid, on 2x snelled hooks, its tougher and lasts longer. Great session keep them comming!
