Hi Cat X Thank you for the unboxigs. I think the girl sat reading is alot like another kit. (Maybe it's the same one and I'm just going mad lol). I love the first one is it Christmas Eve? I now have 3 Christmas canvases so although I love some in the boxes I'm not sure in my head I can justify any more at the moment. I'm going to watch your video if kitting up Myrtle I think tonight while I kit her up. The other canvas is lovely and I know what you mean about your 4th with the colours but (probably said before) I ordered a darker canvas as I saw it worked on and completed and thought it was lovely 🤦‍♀️ not sure I'm going to enjoy it. I'm also going to try and finish my other DAC wips before 1st Jan. Lol I'm crazy. OK I hope you have had a good week and look forward to your next one x Ellie x

Hi Cat, I stopped the video to suggest that you look at recipies you can put together in a crock pot. You can get the prep done ahead of time (for a few meals and freeze some). I loved mine when I was a working mom! Cheers from Canada.

I had the exact same box. I traded Cozy Witch (not my thing), and the otters for the Christmas Vigil angel. Now that I see the otters it does look like fun, but I really don't have the time to do it. I loved the EnaMorte one, and wanted to do it for a friend who I have done two of hers for, but she said to put it up for de-stash and if it didn't go....well, it went in a minute. I had opened it, and the colors were beautiful. I used that money to buy Firefly, which I fell in love with immediately, and had to have. I don't remember her when she came out, but I looked at the date, and I had some family stuff going on at the time. Now I have her. I really wanted to trade Christmas Eve for the Nutcrackers as I have several nutcrackers, but know that would have been impossible, as that is the most sought-after kit.

I have watch several unboxing of the mystery ones and have only seen one I like. It is the one with just the Christmas tree

I have the Dona Gelsinger , Santa's Sleigh Ride. I also have 12 days of spookmas as a wip. Two more chart 2 art on the way. They have arrived In Canada so I should get them Friday the 22nd or Monday. I love the chart 2 art. I did the one last Christmas. It was so much fun and turned out beautifully. Your painting is lovely.

Hello Cat X Thanks for the kitting up/show video. My brain is acting strange at the moment i dont know how to explain. I hope your young man had a wonderful birthday. It sounds like his bedroom upgrade is wonderful except for the carpet misshap and what a bonus having his grandad build his wardrobes. Your language app sounds fun but boy you like to take on alot for your brain lol. I could not take in one word whilst in French at school, i was then moved to Spanish, nope still no good so i was eventually moved into an extra english class. To be honest i was hopeless in school. My ex fiance was half Turkish/iraqi. So he spoke fluent both Turkish, Arabic and some Italian. I tried to teach myself Turkish but it ended up he didnt really want me to understand what he was talking about. I did enjoy copying Arabic. I love music even if i dont understand it (i hope that makes sense) so i would copy some of our friends' tapes, so i would hand write/copy the cassette inlay. Your French adventure next year sounds like fun. We went from Manchester drove to Dover gof a ferry to Dunkirk. We then drove to some friends in Germany then to Paris and back home. It was a lovely adventure. Anyway sorry to have waffled on. I hope your back is much better this week and you are getting done what you want on the lovely canvas. And we are in summer now. I would love to order some of your scented putty one day. My question for you is, how do you store your completed diamond painting kits?

Prep is alpha and omega for me. Make a good tomato sauce base to keep in the freezer. It can be used for many things and adds a lot of flavor. A tasty vegetable broth in ice cubes. I prefer vegetarian dishes, while my husband prefers meat. So make stews that can be frozen and while they are thawing in two pots, fry tofu and/or ground beef and add.

Tip: get a covered plastic bowl, cut up dryer sheet, empty drills into bowl, cover and shake well. Then put them into your containers, no more static !

I get the back pain thing. My back has been a problem for me off and on since I was 12 years old and I’ve been having issues with it all week. As for Halloween, I think you are totally justified in being upset. If it was advertised as a family-friendly Halloween event, then they absolutely should have mentioned that there were some elements that could scare younger or more sensitive guests. I love languages, too! I tried French for about a week, Spanish for a month, and Russian for a day, but they didn’t really do it for me. The languages that I actually stuck with are Latin, German, and Japanese (your pronunciation was fine, I understood what you were saying and wasn’t cringing or anything). I haven’t practiced in ages and so I’ve forgotten a lot of it. I keep meaning to brush up on them, but never get around to it. I’ve been itching to start learning Korean, but I keep telling myself that I should wait until I refresh the other languages. And I should probably go back to learning Spanish since I live in a state (in the US) that is on the border with Mexico, but that always made too much sense to me.😂 As for food, my whole family is full of avid cooks - which is good because there are 9 of us in this house (multiple generations). I will preface this by mentioning that I’m American and I know that how we set up and equip our kitchens is not necessarily how it’s done overseas. We will make large batches of something like a Bolognese sauce and then portion it out and freeze it so all we have to do is heat it up on the stove and cook some pasta and we’re set. We also use our slow cooker or our instant pot when we need to make something but can’t really spend a lot of time on it. Honestly, one of the best things that you can do is prep ingredients ahead of time so you just have to pull them out and throw them together instead of spending a huge chunk of time chopping and what have you while you’re under a time crunch or hungry. I also have a spreadsheet of meals that work for us and a folder (both hard copy and on my computer) full of recipes that I’ve found online, so when I want something a little different, I have a lot to choose from and an easy way to find it. Amusingly enough, one of the things that I want for Christmas is a couple funnels for my drill storage - one like yours and one for my Elizabeth Ward storage. Otherwise, I really want some Lego sets and some sewing accessories. My holiday projects are “Mele Kalikimaka” by Disney from DAC - the smaller Stitch kit that seems to have been a Joann fabric/craft store exclusive - and “Gethsemane” by Mandie Manzano from DAC (not technically Christmas themed, but I’m trying to finish it by Christmas). Sorry about the extra long comment, I’ve just been answering questions as I listen and it has gotten away from me a bit.

I’ve started laying out an entire dryer sheet, pour out the drills, then funnel the dryer sheet and pour in the container. It helps. I always spill drills, throw them in the jar also.

I'm so sad (and mad) this sold out within 5 minutes of release. They should've anticipated more stock even if it's just for the day. Truly disappointed at DAC.

I purchased two pictures with the red Lines,…mica powder doesn‘t cover properly by round ones, only a little bit.I don‘t know if the lines come out by squares.

I'm hoping they remove the pink ink from the sectional lines completely or do away with the sectional lines all together and return to one solid plastic cover.

OMG! Can't believe they still have the issue with pink line on the canvas! I had to return a round drill Morales kit with a light background because it totally would have showed. At least it won't show with square drills. I've so been hoping for a Morales Mystery kit. Also, I figured out which picture this is.

I love the colors. Bummed to see those pink lines on the canvas.. but at least it’s square. Definitely going to try for this one tomorrow
