Suspension trauma is real. OSHA says that being suspended for 30 minutes could lead to serious life-threatening issues. As Troy mentioned, blood clots can form, posing a risk after the worker has been rescued. Also, restricted blood flow can cause the worker to pass out, making recuse operations significantly more complicated. The best solution is to have a swift rescue plan, but even the best ...

    The most informative I've watched so far regarding Electric Gloves. Before I used to think you only need to wear one pair of gloves for electrical safety. The leather gloves are equally important. The mention of the sizing of both pair of gloves is also important. I wish the resource person explained why we need both pairs of gloves to have the same size 1:30. The test to maintain integrity and safety of the gloves are so important 1:38. Watch to the end. Thanks very much. Liked & Subscribed.

    Did a drop test with one of your helmets at work a small steel bolt went right through it....also a small piece of wood didnt go through but the head sensor on our dummy registered a lethal impact compared to the lift dax with full suspension.....also from personally having to wear not only yours but also kask they both sit so high on peoples heads that there is little to no back of head protection mine sits so high and there is no way to adjust it because there is no suspension.....my opinion is that yall should stick to bicycles because thats the only thing these helmets are good for besides making a jobsite look like its being operated by special needs kids coming in on short busses!

    We aren’t going to wear chin straps. Not going to happen. Why wear a NOOSE to work? Anything catches onto that helmet and it’s going to break your neck. NEVER wear anything around your neck or chin in construction. Never.

    • @powerpak-safety1440
      @powerpak-safety1440 5 месяцев назад

      Great point. You should never wear non-rated items around your neck on a job site. Safety helmet chin straps are rated up to a specific force, and beyond that force, the chin strap will break away, per the safety requirement. Numerous construction companies across the country have already switched to safety helmets, and as of late 2023, OSHA safety inspectors will now be wearing the new helmets as well.

    We don’t use wooden stakes we use 4ft t post , it’s also important to keep the fence nice and tight and for areas where your going to have drainage for water depending on the size of the site your working at it’s good to install wire back 50ft from each side of the outlet

    with the eagle type 2 handle also popping the fill cap to allow the can to breathe, what does justrite do? surely this could lead the to justrite can pouring slower than the same nozzle ID eagle can correct?

    • @powerpak-safety1440
      @powerpak-safety1440 5 месяцев назад

      We haven't tested the flow rates, but by the looks of it, you are correct. The type II can flows much slower than the type I can. If speed is the objective (like pouring into an open barrel), then type 1 would probably be a better option. But if you need accuracy (like filling a vehicle) then type 2 would be easier to use.

    • @matthewstansbury3047
      @matthewstansbury3047 5 месяцев назад

      @@powerpak-safety1440 the eagle type 2 has a double function of the pour pull handle that I believe cracks the fill valve open allowing air to enter and act as a vent, which is something I don’t think the justrite can does.. It would be awesome to see you guys demo this. It’s hard finding any demonstrations of the eagle type 2 cans since they’ve been bought up by justrite.

    The toolbox talk should also have input from the crew on any safety issues. Those should be written down. If it can be adderssed at this talk fine. The solution should be noted, in writing. If it is a serious issue there shoild be discussion on what will be done to either correct it or how to protect everyone until it is corrected. This also should be in writing.

    I live in Denmark. Once as i was working as a Work environment professional, we had a visit from the danish work environment authorities (Arbejdstilsynet). There the one who did the inspection was a trained psychologist working as a inspector. She said that we often cant remember all instuctions and rules we have to abide by. Not because we dont want to, but because we simply cant remember - we get overloaded with information. We can get Cognitive (rembering) overload. That is why short informal meetings, right before work starts is really valuable. We cant remember everything at once, but if leaders reminds us the most key things to be aware off, in the task ahead, then there is a better chance in remembering it. This has really stuck to me.
