Was Quincy Jones Responsible For Breaking Up Van Halen?
Where was Styx?
It’s a rock concert. It’s not anything other than that and let’s stop taking what is going on with what band so seriously. Enjoy the show and wish the bands well.
I only got to see him once, in Santa Fe, I kind of thought we would meet, but alas, it will have wait... Notable about that show was when he played rhythm patterns on a large hard bound book! Peace, Zakir. Catch ya later ~
Thank you for sharing. Peace

Great review! To start, a synopsis of my own experiences: I saw the second show of the tour last September in Napa, CA, one of only two live music events I was able to attend this year (the other was for chamber music by a 90-piece orchestra). Needless to say, it was easily one of the finest shows I had seen in recent memory. Two weeks later, I ordered tickets for the Reno concert in November. I reasoned that with other shows of interest in mind that I would just as soon see this one a second time. An unfortunate series of events would have it that I would need to rent a SUV from Enterprise due to a road report warning of extreme weather conditions in the high elevation areas, checking into our room on the 9th floor, at which point we find out that the show is canceled. For what reason? That’s right, extreme weather! If I’m not mistaken, it was the only date that was canceled. Ironically, they arrived in Florida late last September as those massive storms so viciously tore up much of the state (my heart goes out to all those people), yet none of those shows were affected in any way and all went off without a hitch! At this juncture, I am glad that you were able to experience this unique and incredibly stunning performance for yourself. Now… **************SPOILER ALERT**************** Stop reading right here or otherwise proceed at your own risk 🛑 Are you ready for what’s next? Well...We all knew it wouldn't be permanent but now it's official, the Beat does not go on. The tour ends next Wednesday in So Cal but Vai has publicly announced that he will resume touring with Joe Satriani in 2025, although in a different capacity (still, not all that surprising). Personally, I found this to be premature, poorly timed and unfavorable. His performances with Beat were notably apt and functionally sound, as opposed to his usual impulse to overplay everything he touches while spending way too much stage time in the spotlight. There’s only so much of that excessive shredding that I can take before it gets annoying and unbearable. Levin is pushing 80 but I imagine he would do one last tour with Peter Gabriel (if it's in the cards), then call it a career. In contrast to what you stated, Bill Bruford has returned to playing, albeit on a RUclips only format with a jazz guitar/bass/drums trio and on a small, compact kit. Since what is thus far the final King Crimson tour in 2021 (ever grateful that I caught that one, more on a separate band from that evening another time should this thread continue), Mr Fripp has done a number of UK-only concerts accompanying his lovely and talented wife, singer Toyah Wilcox. I really think a case could be made for Fripp and Bruford to join their former cohorts in London (Royal Albert Hall?) for a one-night only King Crimson concert. I would also recommend that they invite Vai and Carey for a small set of the ‘90’s double-trio material that was not performed in the US, then perhaps throwing in Heroes, saving Red and Discipline for this part of the show before closing out the evening with 21st Century Shizoid Man. Not going to happen, I know but it’s not as though the UK fans are not deserving, especially those from the very beginning at Hyde Park in ‘69 that are still with us (I like it!). To those who made it this far, thank you for reading this lengthy dissertation. My sincere apologies if you are bored to tears
I'm getting this guitar tomorrow in a trade for a strat. Seriously, though, don't make guitar demo videos if you can't actually play.
Great show last night! Those guys are all monsters! holy crap that was a Brilliant performance.
Hell yes brother!! I love when a show exceeds expectations! Thanks for watching and commenting
Grateful Dead always been counter culture , the establishment waited almost after they're all dead , how ironic . .

Once with Axl was plenty. I want to see Brian.
Hi there! Ares from Jupiter Fungus here. Thank you so much for the awesome review and the high rating! We are really glad that you like our work! Cheers!
Thank you for reaching out!! Great record!!
Sebastian is full of shit let’s just go with Brian and Bon and let it go retire AC/DC already come on the legacy let it go you got enough money etc.
Please just retire enough enough we don’t need Axel we just need the legacy of Von and Brian
Love Axl but I wanna see Brian😭 However I understand if it’s due to health reasons (he’s friggin 77😱). I got to see them in 2015 in Detroit for the Rock or Bust tour.❤
Detroit great rock town. I’ve seen shows at Pine Knob and Joe Lewis. Thanks for watching and I totally agree with you!
Epitaph. A huge KC and ELP fan due to no internet back then or able to buy albums I was unaware until a bit later of his input there. He was obvs a huge all round talent and Fripp was lucky to get him. Just watched a RUclips vid of him singing Seagoat with Wetton on base. Early days. Amazing. Thanks Pete you changed our lives.RIP.
Steve please come to Philadelphia ❤
Ashbone wish lol
✨️ Songs of a lost world ✨️ N° 1 in 🌎 CHARTS !!!
MASTERPIECE !!!! The CURE 10 / 10 GOD 9 / 10
Thanks for the great outlook of each song, looking forward to have a few and check it out.
New, old, re-done, re-imagined, who cares. As long as it has Phil, I assume Brian(?), and just Eric Bell, I'm all in.
Absolutely!!! His lyrics made those albums
Confusion.
I hope they write that on his grave
I’d give the review a 3.75 out of 5. Would have been better if the reviewer hadn’t spoken for first 2 minutes of the review.
1. Songs of a lost world ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + ⭐️ = ✨️👑✨️ 2. Pornography 3. Faith 4. Desintegration 5. Seventeen Seconds 6. .... 14. Wild mood swings
Songs of a lost world 4,99 / 5 👈🏻 BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Can't wait for that. Those early years very special indeed!
My favorites from the Dead are "Anthem of the Sun", "Aoxomoxoa" (the original mix), of course"Live/Dead", the Dick's Picks vols. 4 and 22, "Workingman's Dead" and "Europe '72". After that point they completely lose me, with the exception of "Blues For Allah" which I enjoyed.
Great burnt ends at q39.
I’m eager to hear!
Nice! You did it right. Glad you hooked up with Joe from the Playboys! Hope the show was good!
Thanks Jason
