Months later, revisiting this tune, I'm confused and wanting to keep up with the lyrics but there are so many of them!!! The instruments and vocals are what I came here for. Unfortunately, I can't focus on the beautiful strings, keys and drums while attempting to actually learn the words.

Ok, now that I've heard this for the 51st time, it's become clearer that Darryl's innuendos and subdued lyrics describe life as it is for so many who are afraid, confused and lost. I'm one of those. At first I was intrigued by his multiple guitars and drum licks but his gorgeous voice and vocals have mesmerized me in a way that I can't describe with the few words taught to me over my decades of learning and listening without actually hearing or truly understanding. Time to stand up and deal with my own demons, no alibis.

Oh...my...freaking...refrigerator!!! Dudes and dudettes, this song made me cry the first time I heard it and then I listened (7 or 19 times) with headphones. Still wiping my tears. If I took every band that I've ever loved and put them all together on one stage, this would be the song that they birthed. So much Kansas, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Allman Brothers, Eagles, Doobies, Styx...you get my drift. And the singer's voice is absolutely angelic. You knocked this one out of the park, Deet.
