around 5 and a half seconds thats good for a v6
Is that the 8 speed or 10 speed
@@Pantherblox041 I think it was the 10 speed
@@devn3813nice I couldn’t tell because they shift kind of similar when did the Camaro v6 get the 10 speed from the 8 speed
2WD or 4WD?
4wd. It was in 4 auto on launch and advance trac off
so what was it, like 6 seconds?
Yes about 5.9 or around there
@devn3813 crazy! So the new high output for 2025 model should be even faster, huh?
@ I would assume so unless it is a lot heavier
@@devn3813 google said 300 lbs heavier... doesn't sound like a lot 🤔🤷♂️
5.8 seconds rated factory 0-60 🤷♂️ can’t argue with facts.
Almost 7 seconds not bad for a boat
L short shift
@@Lilmontay still ran a faster time than reving it past peak
Какое время 0-100kм?? 6sec?
Nice, my 2023 750 cuts off at 68mph, what’s weird is apparently the older ones go a little higher but I’ve heard they added the limiter on the update. I love my KQ but my only gripe is how noisy the thing is under load, it sounds like piston slap when under load climbing a hill but I have heard many KQ’s on RUclips sound the exact same way so I’m not worried lol.
🔥
Ford is one of the only brands that can make there 6 cyliders with 2 turbos sound close to a v8
It’s the fake engine sound through the speakers.
@@devn3813 yes and no when I rev my 2.7 f150 with the door open and standing by the engine it sounds so darn good kinda like a v8 no your probably right when you drive it u get it trough the speakers
crazy 2 liter inline 4 turbo FWD in a mid size sedan 9 speed auto LOL
Borrowed my uncles 3.5 to do some firewood. He’s got the 23 platinum, it’s got the king ranch leather and interior. Dude. Not gonna lie. When I got on the highway and hammered down, that expedition slammed me hard into the seat, with a good 4,000 on the hitch, those tires still broke free. The 0-60 fully loaded was still faster than my dads built diesel, of course while he’s busy changing gears in the Cummins, the ford is just getting up to speed 😉
Nice!
too much hp for front wheel drive
It desperately needs a limited slip diff.
Sound’s like a v8 engine 🤍🔥
True but its v6 dude😎😎😎
😂😂😂😂
Holy shit that 20-roll was great.
Goddamn that little 4 banger is QUICK!
Wow - powerful start! Enjoyed it!
Sleeper?
So my mph in the middle of that display went away. Anyone know how to get it back?
Hit the arrow keys on the steering wheel it will pull up a menu then hit the info button
Ive gotten a 5.5 with no launch or NGS with crap tires on my KN, im about to install a AFE scorcher and hopefully ill get into the high 4s or low 5s.
Pretty lame loser cuck 😂
Is this the high output ecoboost?
I don’t think so
5.5 I'm pretty sure Its a nice ride
I still miss this car
How did you get the speedometer on the dash display
I think I just scrolled through the settings on the steering wheel until I found it
@@devn3813 I will try that
5.5
Sounds lousy
I have an 04 4 speed seems just about the same 😅
Yeah that thing felt like driving a house
slow
Still faster than the 1.0s on your channel
Funny how you only comment slow on vehicles faster than all of yours 😂
That's not bad at all for an entire house
Rolls are where they shine
My V6 is quicker. And its a Lincoln.
Probably $80,000
Front wheel drive crap lmao
Quick. Wish Ford would stop with the fixed oil gauge though.
Pretty Peppy! 6 seconds! I feel like it shifts a lot though. Does it feel like it throws you back in the seat at times or is the torque more gradual
It feels really torquey at low rpm. This was a FWD one and it would spin the tires around every corner. It kind of feels like a diesel
quite peppy
My 2014 limited lt used to slip into 2nd gear badly with 90k miles, got it replaced about 7k miles ago with a trans that had 20k miles havent had a problem since
muffler delete and that thing will sound better than ever
Not bad about 7.5 seconds
Man Toyota on some ford shit who puts a small 4cylender engine in a big ass suv 🤦🏿🤦🏿
Lol exactly but at least it feels powerful. If it were ford it would be some 3 cylinder
@@devn3813 yea but they did not have to get rit of the v6
@@kevonwalker8392 yes they should’ve offered both if made one better than the other for an upgrade option
@@devn3813 right and it does not matter how much power and torque it makes in mine option no 4cylender should not be in a big suv
@@kevonwalker8392 yes it really vibrates and just doesn’t feel the same it isn’t smooth
Nice shifting brotha
Them coins just flying back in the cup holder 🤣
A Chevy engine with the Ford 10 speed, the combination we never knew we needed
If They'd Put 3.73s Or 4.10s In Em It Would Actually Be Quick
Promo`SM
Seems adequate, probably reliable (even though it's a big turbo SUV), but it sounds terrible.
Yeah it has tons of low end torque but it vibrates really bad
@@devn3813 When does it vibrate? This is one of the smoothest running 4 cylinders I've driven in a while
Toyota ruined the Highlander now it’s noisy it used to be quiet with the v6
i test drive one of these not too long ago. it genuinely surprised me with how much torque it had down low and how quickly it got up to speed. pretty sweet, but between this and my 2.0t 10speed accord i think i made the right choice.
I agree. I want a Malibu premier but I think the sonata N line and accord are both much more modern and updated than the old Malibu design
2.0 accord is definitely better in every way you made the good choice.
Yeah but the price difference between this and the accord is incredibly insane. Almost 8k difference before taxes, I’m going to buy a malibu 2018 premier 2.0 for 22k and I know the accord is better but im not paying extra 8k for just few better things especially with comfort that is provided with American cars in general I think the win goes for the Malibu.
HONDEEZY GANG
@@devn3813 the Malibu looks good for its age so go with it if you want a nice aggressive face
These are beasts. GM isn’t even trying to compete. The 5.3 is a boat anchor and the 6.2 comes to play but loses every time.
The 5.3 is probably the worst current powertrain choice. The diesel would be the only way I’d go
The 6.2 is a solid motor it just doesn't have the efficiency or mpg of the tt motors... I was a lifelong gm guy and still have several, but love my 3.5. Eb Plat f150! The only issue is the small things Ford needs to address as far as longevity... that's quick for a big suv, man!
@@devn38135.3 makes enough power, 0-60 in the 7s, enough for passing and merging… unlike where they shove a 1.5t in the terrain; and make it slower than previous generations…. fords ecoboosts though are insane, torque numbers are crazy and they GO
People interested in performance don't go ga-ga over stock vehicles. The 5.3 can lay down a reliable 700hp while getting 20+mpg's and not break the bank.
That's not true, the escalades, tahoes, and yukons, all the way back to 2007, have identical 0-60s as the brand new expeditions, and basically the same power. The 6.2 has more horsepower, excluding fords high output model, and the 3.5 has more low end torque. The ecoboost has only caught up because of the new 10 speeds, before that the Ford SUVs performed worse. You sound like a typical Ford fanboy
Sub 6 seconds imo
They need an N model
It needs AWD or at least an LSD
@@devn3813 yeah that open diff is not fun, they don't even have to put in the e-LSD, just any LSD would be miles better and potentially a civic si competitor
@@IsaacPoopsAlot yes and it would obliterate the SI
If Hyundai made a full N model for the sonata, I’d like them to use the 3.3T from the g70 or stinger, maybe the 3.5T from the g80 would work too. 350 to 375 hp would be a beast
Great video. Love the king quad
