Unbiased AGN Roots Grass Fed Whey Protein Review
Thank you for the nice review! I'm curious, do you have an opinion which one would be more reputable and overall better - NutraBio, - Whey Protein Isolate or Dymatize ISO 100?
Can you add 😮Taha New Zealand whey isolate to the review list? It claims to have a whopping 7.9 BCAA and 4.3 Leucine per serving.
It also uses monk fruit for sweetener not stevia👍
Muscle feast has consistently been the best to me. Results are real. Labdoor was where i would check always. those badges that the bag doesnt have, cost a lot. The non gmo organic sticker cost so much to get certified. If the company is small, no matter how good the quality is, it comes down to money when you get all those certifications. Only giant corps can really afford all those badges.
Totally agree. It's a high-quality supplement, family-owned, and very transparent. You hit it on the head; those badges are not cheap! However, with the brand's transparency and great customer service, I could track everything down for the fitness community.
Terri's is also made with A2 whey as well as being grass fed.
@@59skupe thanks for this info, I’ll add it to my list of future proteins to review

Does the weight per scoop include the scooper? It says 34.2 grams per scoop I think but does that include the scooper or does the scooper separate?
@@ResplendentRaider When I measure servings for my written review, it’s just powder.
Thank you for this review !
No problem!
Another brand of protein that I won't waste money on thanks again J.
I have one more Now Sports review. It could be worth a purchase. Just finishing up the written review.
It gave me the shits for weeks. I went to the drs cause I thought I had a virus. My friend had it as well and shit their brains out. Never again.
A protein brand that i never heard of until now, flew right under my radar! I'm going to try some soon. Thanks for the vid.
Pure Choice Farms is my daily driver. I always drink their protein shakes before donating plasma. The value and quality are tested because I get my pre-plasma screening numbers. Those numbers are always the highest when I drink their protein powder.
@jkremmerfitness Which flavors do you recommend? Is the sweetness level on par with Optimum. Nutrition or closer to Dymatize?
@@ahahaha5341 Vanilla is tame to bland Chocolate is good. Some would say it's bland. Chocolate peanut butter is great, but it's closer to peanut butter. Frosted Marshmallow is the sweetest of the bunch, it's like eating lucky charms marshmallows.
@@jkremmerfitness frosted marshmallows it is ;) thanks
Thanks for your time, effort, and great reviews. I won't buy protein now without watching your reviews first. Keep them coming!
My goal is to keep pumping out content once a week. There are going to be weeks that I'll get burnt out because this isn't my full-time job. Believe me, videos will be out once a week in 2024.
bro you are a genius. I wish i saw this before and got salted carmael with regular flavoring. I ordered orange flavor with stevia and heavy flavoring. a Big Mistake it is super bitter.
Yea. You have the same issues with Stevia as I do. It's super medicinal and off-putting.
Example, podcast videos 😊 you can listen with earphones.
I might be not comfortable because I am not native English listener. I always watched your videos to listen carefully what you’re talking about. Try to make some upcoming videos without background music that probably helps us more understand how serious is your words.
That's no problem. I'll drop the music in the next video on Wednesday. See how the analytics fair. As shared in a previous thread, these videos are here to help out the fitness community.
Hi bro can you make a video or mention it here about high quality whey protein powder ( according to you unbiased research) that has minimal ingredients and has all mandatory certifications. So far i have seen most of your video just can’t decide AGN roots, RAW organic grass fed whey or anything else?
Raw Organic Whey is nice because it's budget-priced for the non-verified version. If you truly want grass-fed protein powder, this is the product for you. Anything verified by Truly Grass Fed will be a solid purchase. In that group of Truly Grass Fed, AGN Roots is great. Earth Fed Muscle is also great, especially if you're looking for flavored protein. The next tier is USDA Organic. Lower in price; however, it's all USA-sourced whey. Antler Farms is also a great recommendation because it is a New Zealand Whey sourced from New Zealand. Manufactured in New Zealand, there are stringed laws for false claims on supplement labels. Completely bypassing 3rd party certification. Pure Choice Farms is a great recommendation. As in every video, it's my daily driver for protein powder. Let me know if there's anything else you would like to know.
@@jkremmerfitness thanks 🙏🏻 bro. That helps a lot
Bro can give you a suggestion please. Bro your background music is so loud that I can’t even concentrate what you are talking. It’s so irritating to listen in this video. I hope you didn’t mind. Thanks
These videos are here to help the fitness community become more informed buyers. Believe me, the volume of some of my last videos has been loud. I'll drop the volume down.
I bet the big names behind the brands had no idea about the shady manufacturing and reviews like this bringing it to light, lite a fire under the manufacturers ass
Thanks! I appreciate your support! These reviews can be extensive, but at least it's helping the fitness community.
Thanks for the update, keep the reviews coming.
Since this is my newest video, here's the schedule release. Hopefully I can get the new one up next Wednesday. Now Sports Isolate Original Buck Feed Buck Feed Xyngular ProGym
FYI the second table you show in this one is Panda instead of RAW. This update makes me feel a lot better about the Cookies & Cream from them, because damn it was delicious!
@@chrisgarey4804 🤣 clerical error. Plus, you have to factor when the protein powder was manufactured. If you have a container purchased in may 2024, it’s spiked

Excited to continue through this series as i look for a trustworthy protein powder for my gf and I. Only thing that I would assume is stunting your channel growth is video quality. You have a specific flavor? If not, I'll add strawberry to the list.
@@jkremmerfitness strawberry is what you should do
@@BigFella-o6w you got it. I'll add it to the list.
Can you recommend a whey protein powder like earth fed muscle that has limited ingredients and doesn’t have stevia? I like flavored whey protein. Look forward for your in sight
@@AaronElliott-m6j I’m sure you’re in the same boat as me, stevia as a highly medicinal, overly sweet taste. That’s a tough one because all of the branded truly grass fed have stevia and offer that overly sweet taste. What I’ve found to offset stevia is to add an extra 4 to 6 ounces of water to minimize the after taste. However, highly quality brands that offer really great flavor is tough. Pure Choice Farms is a great protein powder. However, it’s not flavorful enough. Raw Nutrition was recently certified as not amino spiked in October, however, the leucine content is on par with ON Gold Standard Whey.
So would you recommend Raw nutrition? Do you have any other Recommendations of clean and non stevia protein powders?
@@AaronElliott-m6j If you go with the Bum Protein line, I think the flavors are better than than ON Gold Standard. However, trace amount of stevia is still used. The only other brand I would recommend is Dymatize ISO 100. Stevia is used in a lot of protein powders. This is a tough one.
I researched. What about Naked Whey. They are sweetened with coconut sugar. What are you thoughts on naked whey?
@@AaronElliott-m6j Here's the issue with Naked Whey. When you examine the amino acid profile, you will see that each flavor is different. I go into detail in my written review jkremmerfitness.com/post/unbiased-naked-whey-protein-powder-review/ I also have a video review too. However, I don't think the protein powder is 100% USA-sourced. I believe that a portion of the whey is internationally sourced. Naked Whey may seem like a premium protein, but unfortunately, it's just a lot of smoke and mirrors without it being verified by an independent 3rd party.
Can you do a review oh iso h1 they claim no amino spiking but the numbers seem high for leucine
At 26 grams of protein, the standard BCAA amount is 5.5 grams. The leucine content is EXTREMELY high. ;). I'll add it to my list and snag a container when it goes on sale on black friday.
Looking forward to your review thanks!
Hey man what would you say is the best value buy in you opinion?? and is not amino spiked. I have put in order for true nutrition and Z naturals as it was cheap af.
True Nutrition offers questionable transparency; they are selling a low leucine count protein powder. If you saw my review on Z Natural Foods, I'm sorry. The information shows that it's most likely amino spiked, so I need to update you. If you're looking for a quality budget option, ON Gold Standard, ISO 100, or Raw Nutrition. I'm updating my Raw Nutrition Review because the brand is recently certified as Informed Protein. I hope this helps you.
@@jkremmerfitness have you looked into labdoor 3rd party testing?
@@ak47ava most companies will advertise labdoor testing. Last time I checked, the list is pretty minimal

Bro i really liked your research and unbiased review videos. I have a request can you do an unbiased review on " Levels Protein grass fed whey protein " I will be waiting for that video. thanks
Really appreciate the support! To save time, I got that one done a couple months ago. ruclips.net/video/Hq3L6vbCOn8/видео.html There are some things I don't like about Levels, however, it has the characteristics of a cold processed protein powder. Then again, there is no 3rd party testing for any of the claims. In all reality, it's probably a standard isolate with claims of grass fed. I gave it 70%. However, that's in the "buyer beware" territory.
@@jkremmerfitness Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you for the review. Keep producing such excellent content! It’s surprising to see other influencers claiming this is the top affordable protein on the market.
Thanks for commenting. Don’t worry there’s a lot of protein that needs to be reviewed with scrutiny.
I currently use Pescience because the taste is great. I rely on protein powder for additional protein to meet my daily goals. I rely on meat, egg whites, Greek yogurt, and other protein sources for the bulk of my protein intake. With that in mind, i am not too concerned with some of the profile aspects. Pescience kind of annoyed me, so i am looking to jump ship to something else.
If flavor is important, Ghost Protein is a fantastic choice. I firmly believe it's one of the best-tasting protein powders available. It's right up there with BSN protein powders.
@jkremmerfitness Thanks. I will give it a shot. I am not too concerned with grass fed or organic, and I mostly just use it to boost protein daily I don't consume post-workout, and I just try to get around 50g of protein at every meal; so this just helps me get closer to 190g for the day. Cheers!!
thanks for this! Was wonder if Bucked Up protein would be coming up in a future video?
@@danielhero7868 I’m actually located in the Midwest and hunting season is around the corner. I believe I have two different containers of Bucked Up laying around and those were the next videos planned in the next 4 videos
Your view on Rule 1 isolate. Is it good to go or should i only use dymatize
Great question. Dymatize is the superior product due to its open transparency regarding protein quality. Rule 1 Isolate has transparency issues; I believe the product is amino spiked. I've made multiple requests for an amino acid profile for R1; the information is proprietary. Proprietary = most likely amino spiked.
Love your unbiased reviews. Can we get a review of the syntha 6 edge protein?
I'll have a video review up around Thanksgiving. I'll have a double feature with BSN Isolate. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Very disappointing, makes me question all the supplements I get from them now. 😡😡
It was my go-to place for magnesium and creatine. After researching, I'm probably going to steer clear. 3rd party testing shouldn't be done in-house.
@@jkremmerfitness yea they lost my business. Irritating. I’ll pay more for confidence is the product
legit, thank you
🙏🏽
Does it contain any BCAA and creatine?
Negative. The US version of MyProtein Impact Isolate does not contain creatine or BCAAs. However, the company refreshed its containers this year. The US version of their protein has been verified as non-amino spiked, Informed Protein. However, that depends on when your bag of protein was manufactured. If you want to see a list of 3rd party tested, non-amino spiked protein powders: protein.wetestyoutrust.com/sites/default/files/generated-pdf/file.pdf However, even though MyProtein is not amino-spiking its protein powders, I believe it is offering the lowest-quality whey for its products. Even though you may be getting 20 grams of protein per serving, the leucine count is left unknown. So, it may take more scoops, 1.25 to 1.5, to stimulate muscle growth and recovery. I've requested an official amino acid profile multiple times, but I've yet to receive one from the company.
Solid review !!
Anything to help out the fitness community for being more informed and not losing gains!
Thanks for these reviews. I learned about Informed Choice/Sport from you. Got a great deal on 5lbs of Sports Research Whey Protein. USA-sourced, Informed Sport-certified for $49.
I ended up grabbing 5 other protein powders for future video reviews down the road. This one has been on my watch list the 3 months. $50 is a good deal but I haven't taken a look at the smaller details. LMK how it tastes.
Isopure Low Carb is on the Informed Choice website. Not the Zero Carb product however. Made in India.
Informed Choice is just verified ingredients list sharing that there are no PEDs or illegal substances. All forms of whey have various amounts of lactose. If it's from a milk based protein, then it can't be zero carb. If Isopure Low Carb was NOT amino spiked, why not pursue Informed Protein? Do a nutrition facts comparison against AGN Roots. AGN Roots is certified and verified as not amino spiked. The ingredient list is only grass fed whey protein isolate and sun flower lecithin. How can an unflavored only have 1g of carb vs a non-certified zero carb protein powder? Isopure Zero Carb Protein is not telling the truth.
hi, thank you for ur video. I am a myprotein isolate user and ur video raised my concern. May I ask where is the source of “they most likely import protein power from India”?
Optimum Nutrition sources its protein from Inida. Reading a container of MyProtein, it's not shared that the whey is NOT from hormone-free cows. Technically, it could be from China.
@@jkremmerfitness hey there, I did little investigation as I was curious. My protein should be using polmlek for concentrate whey protein, which is from Poland. And milk specialties for isolate whey protein, which is from the United States.
@@hangzhou4333 It totally depends on where you live in the world. I reside in the US and know their whey is internationally sourced from the lowest-priced distributor. The price point doesn't seem to support your statement that MyProtein Isolate is US-sourced. I've reviewed at least five protein powders with a certificate of analysis with US Origins, and all those protein powders are premium-priced, $50 and up. MyProtein Customer Service is not convenient. I've made multiple requests for an amino acid profile and certificate of analysis. Every time, I've been met with no response or my request has been ignored. I'd be truly interested to see the specifics of their protein powder products.
This is an excellent review. Thank you so much for doing this. :)
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

On the plus side, you can still stimulate muscle growth by increasing your post-workout shake to 1.5 scoops or using high-protein skim milk. Sometimes, these protein powders that offer great value are hurting your gains.
