Founded in early 2005, The Chicago Mosaic School has become the center of education for Mosaic Arts in the United States and around the world. As the first non-profit school of its kind, CMS provides opportunities for students and artists interested in comprehensive study with an academic, materially-oriented approach to art education in the World Master tradition.

Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics, in association with The Chicago Mosaic School, proudly presents Maestros, an exhibition featuring the works of five influential and internationally acclaimed artists working in contemporary mosaic.
These five artists, Verdiano Marzi (France), Dugald MacInes (Scotland), Pamela Irving (Australia), Toyoharu Kii (Japan), and Carolina Zanelli (Italy), have changed the landscapes and perceptions of mosaic through their lifelong investigations and experimentations in their individual practices.
