voice lesson with alto

This alto hits a very low G! Impressive for being only 14!
Beautiful rich voice, love, love. ❤ Question: Do you offer online lessons for beginning Alto female singers?
❣️😭 Amazing
I cud easily do it)
LOL THE WAY SHE INTRODUCE HERSELF HAHA
me watching this: wow she was only 14 at this time !!! *looks at the upload date* wait- EYE was 14 at this time lol
Moriarty became a vocal coach?
I hit the G2 too I’m not really that aware of all the notes but is it like a big deal lol?
Is it just me or does it look like she's not singing she barley moves her lips 😯😲
I can’t even hear her
😲 dangggggggg
I have G2
This helped me figure out that I'm an alto. I'm not a trained singer at all--I just like like to sing to myself for fun & while I play the piano or compose music. So this was super helpful. I've been struggling to figure out if I'm mezzo or alto because I guess people mix them up or mezzos are more common. But I could comfortably sing almost the same range as her (she was able to go 2 or 3 notes lower) with a nice rich tone, unlike other tests I've tried. So thanks for showing this!
No fair! l can only go down to A2. G#2 if I'm lucky. And yeah I'm way older than her
I can't hear her for the piano.
I can reach fals 😂
During a little test to find my range in choir, we had to sing "Row Row Row Your Boat" I would have prefered this, but its over now.
I can only reach C3.
C3 is still very low for a woman. That's great
Same...well it's deepest I can hit that sounds like a note.
I’m a soprano and when I try to reach a B2 I sound stupid 😂
Same.. I can sorta do B2 but not really
Me too
This is the female version of me
I don't think I can do that note xD I may can, I'm an Alto too!
omg, her voice is amazing.
Who cares about singing low? How about singing naturally and over time expanding one's appoggio zone? Also, what about singing high?
To be truly a vocalist one should not only focus on high notes low notes are just as impressive and needed as a high note so shut up.
Yirel South Singers ought to make sure that they are singing healthily and exercise all of their voice, but if they prefer to sing low or high - as long as it is safely done, that is up to them.
EmilyGreene1984 for harmony thats why
EmilyGreene1984 you sound really stupid.
It's impressive because typically Altos are back up for the soprano's and most women already sing high so to achieve a deep voice is impressive.
wow she killed that G2 thats like brandy and toni braxton low tenor range for sure.
G2's actually a Baritone note, I think you'll find.
@@CockneyRebel1979 it’s a lower but still comfortable baritone singing note. Big difference between singing range and extended range you will learn.
@@CockneyRebel1979 Listen to the teacher in this video vs someone like elvis hitting the low g and you will see what I mean. Then listen tk absses hitting the low g and lower. Baritones should in theory be able to extend below a low g, but everyones different I suppose.
@@CockneyRebel1979 so while its impressive for a young girl to hit that note, in reality she’s probably not a baritone. She’s likely a low alto, which can sometimes be very similar to a tenor. Sometimes you may even find a “female tenor.” The male equivilant I would say is a basso profondo, which can hit somewhere between an f1-bb1 in CHEST and sometimes lower. These are VERY rare voices. You may find you’re able to extend into the low bass range if you learn how tonuse different vocal rechniques like fry, subharminics, different mixes and growl etc… but for a true bass they can hit the low notes in chest with comfort and good natural tone.
@@CockneyRebel1979 its like if a tenor or baritoje hit a note in falsetto and you say based on that “wow you must be a soprano!” Kind if silly when u think about it no?
damn I can get down to B2
You're lower than me then. I'm a guy and I can't go much below about an F3, give or take.
Same but it's not fully clear
Thank you.
How can I contact you

vfghghghghghghghghghgh
Great range but she might be able to go higher or lower if she sat properly or stand when she sings. She could definitely improve her posture which would give her more support.
Good point there
God is has done amazing things and is still doing
I'm having a youth week at at my Church Bethel Tabernacle Boscobel upc commencing: March 25- March 29 All are invited!!See you there while your blessings,Healing and Restoration awaits you ... Looking forward to see you!!
That's why I prefer to stand up when I sing. I can't stand singing while I'm sat down.
I can't hear her
Missy Wiley that may be because she's far away from the camera and because she's a lower voice type her placement isn't as bright so it's a little harder to hear... at least from my experience that what happens...
Because her voice is same as ours
Because she's singing so low.
I can't hear her too
Holy mother of God, I'm totally shocked. This totally scares me considering I'm a 30-year-old male and as a singer I can hardly A2 but tend to bottom out at E3 or D3 while singing. I Teach Keys, I'm sure most of your ladies only go as low as A3, G3 or F3, right? This girl has reached lower than me.
Chad Guindon Yeah but it's all glottal fry, does it really count? Women can hit pretty low with glottal, how low does she hit with her actual chest voice is much more important. Glottal fry is not a healthy way to sing, it usually destroys your voice over time because most people don't know how to use it properly.
I cant hit an a2 without fry but i bottom out at a whispery c#3 while singing i usually bottom out at an f#3
Mm, I wish I could go as low as her. I'm an alto, my lowest comfortable note is E3. A bit lower than the altos I've encountered, but a lot of people in this comment section claim to be able to go a lot lower.
I'm a bloke and I tend to bottom out at about F3, give or take- (topping out at about F5.)
@@goodthings1641 Exactly! "Claim." Where's the bloody proof?! o.o
KITKAT37399, in the thousands of hours I have taught, I have never had a woman go lower than the young girl in this video (which was shot a couple of years ago). It would be a blast to hear you sing if you are going lower than she!!
Well I'm 15 going on 16 soon, the lower I go the unclear it gets. I'm trying to train my voice to go deeper than G2 and make it clearer.
Im 18 and i believe that my vocal range is just as low or lower then her
I'm a bloke and even I'd struggle to get down to a G2. That was bloody impressive! o.o
How about B2? That's how far I went this other day and probably could go down to A2.
@@martineyeo7491 B2's higher than G2, I believe. B2's lower-end Tenor / upper-end Bari territory.
I hit it easy, I could probably go lower an Octave or two. Nice video, love it!!
Or two? You realize there's only one more octave lower than that... Unless you're a bass, lol I don't think so.
@@goodthings1641 *unless you're an oktavist, actually
It really doesn't look like she is singing
I only hit a B2 hahaha I wish i could go lower
I did this easily:0).Now i see why people say I have nice alto voice:0) I find it easier for me to sing tenor songs and deeper songs:0). do you have any tips for me?
Actually it's G3
No she hit the G below that
Mike Brown Ok, let it be so))))
I'm amazed. I know 30 year old altos that can't hit that note
Wow!!! A G2?? And she's only 14??? Sick!!!
