Also covering the rust like this is a terrible idea. You should have treated the rust first, now when the herculiner fails in the future you will trap moisture with the rust. Now your frame will rust away even faster... People think they are doing something good when they do this but in reality you will be worse off a year or so later.

Herculiner is not UV resistant, I would top coat it heavily with a high gloss black enamel tractor paint. Otherwise it will dry out and crack then the water will start rotting your bed.

Hate them they went overboard once again, ford like to do that tho, they are the reason everyone hates chrome, early 2000’s was caked with chrome, now they doing it with black, why is there grill in the headlight, last model was cleaner looking
