Nope. Mine is pretty quiet. My Xbox on the other hand can get pretty loud.

Never mind so I figured it out I had the cap stored in the wrong hole I had it in the square/X instead of circle/triangle. This is only done if you are using the older consoles other than the slim in which I have it snaps it place perfectly. Also side note if you are using the stand for the older model you must use the additional base to fit the older ones. Then you would reverse what I said ⬆️ moving along if you have the slim you turn the base till it is securely in place then screw it in square/x. I hope this help. This is many of our misunderstanding. Me as a person love to help people and I figured it out. Hope this helps you all who are having this problem. Did he just gloss over the fact that you have to register the disc drive with Sony’s online servers before you can even use it? Think that’s something people would of needed to know🤷 DRM with the new console it what made me run out and get the previous version. I was originally planning to wait for the PS5 PRO but once I learned that the new slim is practically a brick unless you register the drive, something you will have to do multiple times over the course of owning the console and that some bugs can lead to you being dropped out of your game(I’ve seen it happen) that is the reason I opted to get the previous model. I expect the ps5 PRO will have the same restrictions. People forget that Sony have been hacked before😂 People forget how long PS3 owners went without being able to connect to PSN back in the day. If it could happen then it could happen again. Also internet outages are a thing. It’s nice to have the option to game off line. You can’t do that if you get locked out from being able to use your drive like some have already, since the slim launched. Something to think about.
Yeah all that stuff happens and DRM is a thing that exists. Keep in mind these are my first few videos and am learning along the way. While I did not physically talk about having to register the drive, I did a sped up video process and added some text describing what was being shown. Sorry I didn’t go in to detail, I’ll keep that in mind for my next videos.
There's no really difference tbh, slim is just smaller👍 Perfect for gamers who has a small setup, other than that, their both the same!👍

@@user-so2rh9om6y 175gb added, I don't really need the 2 usb ports cause I don't have any accessories and they relocated the eject button for the digital edition since it can be put on a digital edition.

There’s no graphics difference, it’s just a smaller space saving form factor. Maybe if they do a pro model like they did with the ps4, but we will have to wait and see if that happens.

I attached the faceplate to it but the screw doesn't align doesn't reach the hole to screw???
@@johnnyrodriguez276 There are two holes for the screw... one is for the slim and the other is for the original model. just move it left or right a bit and they'll eventually line up.
@@EverydayEvoI think they mean the two tabs that’s on the stand do those go in the vent at the bottom or no it just rest on the console. Mine did what they said the two tabs one on the top and the other on bottom is just sitting on the console but not the vent holes. This is for the slim by the way.
Good video! My question is: is it cooler than PS5 OG? Because the "slim" it has a 19 blade fan
I have been blessed to have never had issues with any hardware I have owned. However the fan area doesn’t have the same blades running down the sides so more air may get to to it, but you may have to clean more frequently.

It's good you tried to compare between two models and nice unboxing of the slim. Both are incredible but I prefer the original standard edition because it's cooler to me.
