The crazy part is I don’t think it’s the club head as much as every other part of the club… your irons would of worked, you just needed to adjust shaft stiffness weight, kick point and grip and you could of been hitting them pure.

dont worry man im in the same spot as you! lol, i just got into golf and im 32, and i feel like a fool sometimes when i skull my wedges 100 yards past the back of the green. one day we'll be lower handicaps and not duffing our irons n wedges.

reason why your losing distance on your irons is probably because your hitting up on it instead of compressing it. This happened a lot to me when i was smoking my woods and driver as well. Because your coming in flat to the ball. I struggle with this myself. I've been trying to get down to a single from 20 last year and a half I've been putting the work in and currently at a 12. keep it up brother i enjoy the content because currently going through same struggle lol

Your swing is really, really shallow. It has to be difficult to compress an iron with that angle of attack. Driver swing looks great, though!

You are very stiff armed on your chips. I'm a terrible golfer and shouldn't be giving anyone advice, but I have worked a lot on chipping this winter and get my best results when my swing is loose and relaxed, but structured....if that makes sense. The back elbow stays close to the body, but still bends. Grip is relaxed, wrists don't flex a ton, but are also relaxed. And as a youtuber I can't remember the name of always says, "finish titties to the target". Hands never really get ahead of the chest.

Please tell me your not spending this much. Golf isn’t a game of spend the most be the best. I learned how to shoot low 80s with a starter set of clubs from academy. Play a lot. Hit a lot of balls. And get lesson when you feel like your swing is in a good spot. Don’t just throw money at the problem

as most other people have mentioned, you're way too shallow and are mimicking a driver like swing with your irons i'm sure you'll get it taken care of with another lesson, best of luck

10:28 Are your hands forward at impact with your irons? That's what it usually is with me when my distance or overall ball striking goes into the toilet with my irons. I have to refocus on putting more weight on my front leg, and keep my head from moving around like a bobble head.

I spent $14 for 2 hours at an indoor simulator last weekend. I shanked a ton of balls into the hazard. I six-putted most of the holes. I ended with a 109, so I totally dominated. I did manage to crush a drive 326 yards though. Cheapest round of golf I've ever played, too. Love the videos!

As somebody who also swings consistently at -7 to -10 I got the best tip ever to get me swinging more in to out this week. (I've only been playing a year so need all the help I can get). ruclips.net/video/jmBdZDTQf4o/видео.html - this danny maude vid is rock solid. all of it is good but at the 5 minute mark when andreas talks about closing the face with the wrists and opening it back up with the body/arms took almost all of the negative swingpath out of my swing. Im just to pleased I'm telling everyone!

I made it down to a 13.2 this season. Most of that gain was figuring out my driver and picking up swing speed. I used to hit it 230/40 on the fly with 250ish total. I could not keep it in play consistently shooting in the mid to high 90s. I finally got fit for a driver in 2021 and started figuring out how to hit it straight ish. 2022 I finished with a 17 handicap. Off season I started swing training. Went from a 100mph swing to a 108mph- 260+ carry, 280ish avg total. I can hit 300 total now. Gained 2 clubs in my irons too. Now tee to green I’m confident and I know I’m going to hit single digits next season. The next big drop in handicap for me is figuring out the putter. My point in this blurb is don’t bench the driver. Drive for show, putt for dough yes…. But it’s a club you can pull on nearly every hole. The closer you are to the green for your second shot, the better chance at a close approach.

This is definitely one of the channels I look forward to getting a notification for when a new video comes out.
