Being authentic for yourself, grow, learn, and have fun!
Yes!!!
You need not to ask man this question let the Holy Spirit guide you
@@JudyBrown-g5o He did. This is a video for conversation about this topic.
Omg as a daycare worker and parent that should never happen. A child does what they are taught not only at home but also by school and their friends. Every behavior is learned. I am so sorry that happened to you and your child. I never believe in a child being bad.
And most importantly from what you be learned when a child is a busy body means they are bored because they are already passed the level of learning they are provided. So I say good job momma you have taught him a lot and he’s ready to expand past his level.
Deal with the teacher head on
As an ex-director I would think parent teacher's communication is important. However, as the director, please come to me so I can make sure to address it with the teacher. I could be having parents quiet quitting. Was it the lead teacher or assistant?
You got it! It was the assistant. The lead teacher knows but I think the assistant got too comfortable with me so I had to be firm of our expectations.
Yeah on point❤
To God be the glory. Beautiful testimony!😊😊😊😊😊
Girl. Yes. This is the content I needed!
So glad we found each other! 🫶🏾
Awesome advice!
Thanks so much!
😂😅 indoctrination got us real bad
Listen...being a working mom is the hardest thing I have had to do in my life.
Also working mom are chronically tired because they are trying to do it all . data can be manipulated to show whatever you want to see
You are absolutely right! That's why none of it can be generalized. There is good and bad on both sides of it. That's why I believe as women, we should support the choices the other group makes, not add another burden with criticism and judgment.
What does it say about the children’s rate of depression in working mom’s compared to stay at home mom’s or the educational levels and drop out rates of these children? What about the amount of promiscuity or unwed pregnancy or what about drug addiction or arrest rates? Just asking for a friend.
Bruh, my friend 🤣was curious to see if the study not only included the impact of staying at home vs working had on the mothers but also what impact did it have on their children and their families. She is telling us that the study showed that working moms were less depressed and so forth but were the children less prone to depression of the working mom or the stay at home mom or both, etc. When you listen to statistics you definitely have to read and dig through the lines because there’s usually something hidden underneath it all. That’s WTF I’m getting all of this from. Bro
I've seen studies that say working moms are more depressed and I've seen studies that say stay-at-home moms are more depressed. As Dawn said on this thread, data can be manipulated. I believe happiness has to be determined at an individual level. Then you create the life you desire based on fulfilling your purpose. We all have to do things we don't want to do, adulting. :-) However, if you want to work, find the job you will enjoy and create your desired family dynamics in partnership with your spouse. If you want to stay at home, create the best environment at home for your family. I will have to do more digging on promiscuity and drug addiction. All of that is just higher across the board. I don't think we need to look at it as a working mom or stay-at-home mom issue but a family issue that also has to be dealt with on a case by case basis. When there are these things going on, it's deeper than whether you mom is a stay-at-home mom or a working mom.
@@LakeshaHolloway not necessarily does it have to be elements that are deeper involved. It would be beneficial to include how stay at home and working effects the children of these moms and their home balance. Children being naturally geared to being able to manipulate and maneuver to benefit themselves utilize any and all opportunities to do so. Therefore according to the statistical aspect of the study, my friend 🤣 was wondering if this data was recorded as well. After all if mom decision or need isn’t causing her to be depressed from being a working mom, how has her decision affected her children because essentially her decision will have an impact not just for her but those under her care
@@dawnwalton1099 But that would be for any decision right? We can't doom all children of working moms. I'm a third generation of working moms. My grandmother was forced to be a working mom of 8 kids when her husband was a victim of a car accident. My mother was the first in her family to get a degree. I know stay-at-home moms and working moms who have children who get themselves into trouble. I will provide the studies under my main video - Are Working Moms Happier? I'm a working mom so I need about 24 hours b/c I'm headed to a meeting. 🤣 I don't think we need to weaponize the research against each other, making one woman fell she is superior because she chose to stay home or go to work. I also don't think we should take research that states a negative outcome and then think our family is doomed. lol. Tell your "friend" that she is a good mom and she is doing a great job, no matter what path she chose.
@@LakeshaHolloway I think you took my question more personal than it was asked . To understand the benefits of the study it would be beneficial to see how the decisions or circumstances affected others impacted by the decisions. If we are studying moms wouldn’t it only make sense to see if because mom was more or less depressed how that effected the household or the fact that one mom appears to be more accessible than the other is too worth looking at its effect, if for nothing more than statistically. How would that information weaponize one against the other?? The benefits should be made known when we are referring to a statistical study is all I’m saying.
Very good tips!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks so much!
Men are like spectators watching a football match, they might want to watch but don't want to get on the field.
I agree! Stress from a newborn baby was giving me terrible acid reflux! I turned to Jesus and changed my life.
Praise God! He will tell us exactly what we need to do to make the necessary changes that will save our lives.
Love the eye contact and tone of your voice. I literally felt like you were talking to me 😅
Thank you! This is great feedback as I struggle with the sound of my own voice. 🤦🏾♀️
You are beautiful ❤️
Thank you!
❤❤❤
💕💕💕
Thank you all for your responses. Humans are fascinating. ❤
🤣yees !Try 3boys at home. Agallon a milk every 2-3 days.
Wowowowow!!!!
Yes ma’am they will DEFINITELY eat you out of a house and home 🤦🏾♀️😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Yep. They are hungry machines.
Like pac men…. 😂
Yes he will and he will drink a gallon of milk a day! Good luck! I had 2!!!
Give them ùgali.
Yes they do, ours eats a lot and he's only 17.
Yep. They go in waves. Unless he a sports boy then he will a man doing the same.
Yep! that's what they do.
YES!!! My son could do a whole frozen pizza before dinner. I had to stop when friends started to come over. Watch the processed food.....we had a big discussion on soda consumption. Kids are great. Love them all! God Bless!
Yes, we don’t do friends eating all of our food. He has one friend that won’t even eat at his friend’s homes. We don’t allow soda in our home. He can have it as a treat when we go to restaurants but not every day in the home.
@@LakeshaHolloway We have to remember it's just a stage. Today my son, 29 yrs old, called and invited me out to dinner. So HANG IN THERE it does get better! Stay positive, keep posting and God Bless!
@@nancylynnmartin7007 thank you so much! Love hearing the stories of mommas who have gone before me! 😍
Your son, or daughter, eat you out of a house and home if you let him. Why does he think such behavior is acceptable?
I know. I was like whoa son…slow down. Lol. It was the first time he had done this so I thought it was funny and had to share since I know I’m not alone. 😊
@@LakeshaHolloway I have a hard time believing this was the first time.
@@rocky3993 thank you for being such an incredible human! Be blessed! 😊
I had girls, they did the same thing. I have no idea where they put it.
It happens with grown men, too! My man cleans out the cupboards, fridge, and freezer on just his two days off! It's shocking! And he's always hungry. This man has heavy protein at every meal. How?? Where does he put it?!
So true! I have a big one too and tow little ones. I’ll be on this journey for awhile. 🤦🏾♀️
He needs a bunch of protein. The loads of sugar and carbs don't fill him up. They are empty/ expensive calories and he'll crash and crave more sugar and carbs. Invest in the healthy proteins like roast chicken wraps, cans of tuna, eggs etc. Yes, he'll continue to eat a ton! Not gonna lie! But it may not be the crazy volume you're seeing. Protein is the building block he needs🙂.
You, and he still goes back to the pantry. He just doesn’t get that much snacks when he goes.
How about stocking some actual real food to fuel his growth?
I find it fascinating that your assumption is that he doesn’t have from one video. 🤦🏾♀️🙄😂
The trick is to give them filling cooked meals. That minimizes the constant snacking. Good luck mama. You got this!
Ours are hungry like clockwork no matter what. I can only imagine how it will be as they get older.
He can have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner and still be in that cabinet. 😂 He just never got that much at the same time.
Oh wow! Mine is only 8. I guess it gets worse as they get older.
Yup.
mom of 4 boys ages 7 to 17 yes they eat a lot Food it our number 1 expense and we only go out to eat once maybe twice a year
Oh wow! Bless you momma!
Yes they do. But, at the same time I would have a full lunch at school, come home eat a box of Mac and cheese and then eat dinner not even two hours later. When I graduated from high school, I wasn't even breaking 110 lbs. BTW I'm a girl (woman).😂😂
Yes! Girls will too! 😂
That sounds like the munchies.
Right! He had never done that before. I was like what is happening here. 😂
Let them eat 🎉❤ because other kids dont have nothing. But teach them that there kids across the world starving so he can appreciate the food you buy
So true!
Yup absolutely....sounds about right😂
Yes he will eat you out of house and home but only for a couple of years. I raised 3 sons and it felt like I had to go to the grocery store every hour.😂
Oh wow! It definitely caught me off guard. 😂
Yep.....gotta have a separate grocery/snack savings account.
Haha…right!
You need some vegetables and meat-- what the grand parents called solid food ❤❤❤❤❤ Solid Food My sista
It’s amazing how people assume he doesn’t get that 🤦🏾♀️😂
Damn she talkin bout how her son dogs her pantry and a lot of yall can’t think of shit to do but judge and criticize her for what her kid eats .. you mfs weird af now a days🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Thanks for the support. It doesn’t bother me. People will be people. My son eats healthy meals every day. He just also eats everything else - snacks, apples, oranges, veggies, bananas - and anything else he can get his hands on. 😂
@@LakeshaHolloway I got a 9 year old boy and a set of 8 year old twin boys so I understand you fully .. my youngest of the twins is so small and skinny but I just watched him eat a whole loaf of bread.. I ain’t stop him 🤷🏽♀️😂😂
@@Archon_Lenise omg wow!!!! We’re all in this together! 💕
Yes x 3
Most definately...
I got a 9 yo boy and two 8 yo boys.. baby I am not ok 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️they eat everything.. I mean everything .. I fear summer break now… I used to love summer til I had my sons 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Bless you momma! 😂
We cook a whole roast chicken, every couple of days, so there is always chicken in the fridge, a bowl of tuna, rice or pasta etc it'll fill him up and is cheaper than buying snacks
Yup, we do chicken a couple of times a week as well. Our snacks actually last a couple of weeks. I posted this video because he never goes and gets that many at one time. It was a first for me so I had to share.
Be glad you only have one boy, imagine having 3
I have two. Lol
