"Will to fight until the end". Those are inspiring words as well as the general message. Thanks for the reminder of the "essence"...speaks volumes. I have the heart of an observer and admirer of warriors these days rather than being one.

We are not better because the skill, the speed or strenght. We are because we have the will to fight until the end and deal with whatever are the consequences. No matters it bring us glory or shame, its just fighting in what we believe... in our code, in our honor. Is what give us our unbreakable determination to see it though to the very end. That is the only truly thing that can bring peace to our soul. A sadly truth, but the very essence of what being a warrior means.

when your mother kisses your cheek or your father your forehead. when the sunrise comes a little late, slowly and then all at once, colors like you wouldnt believe. when the moon hangs low and large and feels close enough to touch, to hold. when you ride your bike into the creek, come out dripping and giddy with laughter, your friends quick to follow. when the neighbor throws a towel to you and sighs, smiling, knowing what you don't. when the sun stings your calves and shoulders, and the soil comes home with you under your nails, in your shoes. when the storm passes slowly and you wait eager by the window, your brother counting the time between flashes and bangs, speaking of sound and distance. when that first kiss hits you, too young to know better, drunk on hope. when the bottle caps came from mexican coke or arcade drinks. when the sand stuck to you and slept in your bed. when you woke up to a tapping at your window, and the world was large and lovely, and there was no fear of its orbit or its intentions or its tendency to take everything. when the certainty of it was lost on you. when there was no such thing as birds and stones, or deer in headlights, or a length of rope just short enough. before all of that, when you were that golden, dove-soft thing, always singing, always ready to dive back into it, because you knew no other way of living. picture this: it is a sunday. the sun has risen above the tree line, and your mother is sitting on the porch. that dog is still alive, sleeping at your father's feet as he reads the paper. someone calls your name from the backdoor-- are you coming, or what? and you are. you're on your way. the weekend is nearly over and what comes after it is nearly here. but it's not yet, and the sun is still out and there's lemonade in the cooler and lines in the lake. there is no such thing as tomorrow. there is barely even a yesterday. there is now, eternal, evermore. there is the childhood-shaped thing inside your chest. it is not a grave. it is a growing thing. every day, every moment. that kid you were, standing beside you, holding your hand. knowing it's hard, and it'll hurt. knowing also that all worthy things come with sweat, and salt, and sting. you can't go back, soldier. you must hold all this tight, you must remember the green hills and forever skies, the stars impossibly bright and the ocean lapping at your window. regardless of the world now, you must see it as it could be. as you once believed it was. this is strength, soldier: to grow beside childhood, not away from it.

There is always someone taller than me Someone with more money A better job Someone more interesting Someone with a more attractive ethnicity / better features Logically i can resonate that this can’t be the case. But then why does it feel like these are the pre-requisites I am graded on each time meet someone. I’ve given up i think? Im on these dating apps, but i know im just one bad rejection away from being worse off mentally. So i never really bother trying in the end anymore. Did’nt used to be this way I chosen the pain of just isolation, like im in a hole, and rather fall deeper in it, stay in the middle. I’m 24 now, maybe under 6-7 people I can really call a friend. As i grow older its harder to meet people. Personally don’t think it will get any better

It was a lonesome day, I woke up, and started on my path. While walking through it, I stopped halfway. Felt numb, nothing to comfort I hath, Shook convulsively, the pearls dropped apart, "Is it real?" said the broken heart. It was noon, the sun at zenith, Sitting around passing the time, Huge regret was blooming underneath, when I committed a crime. Towards the end, the sun had set, Know looking at my unfinished work was all I had left. It is night, my mind's at war, Unfinished work was glaring at me, Felt the pressure deep in my core, My mind's broken, my heart won't listen, I say to myself once again, It's all nothing but pain.
