Mennonite Youth Speak Out About Affordable Housing at Pasadena City Council
Five youth from the Pasadena Mennonite Church went to the Pasadena City Council in December 2023 and spoke out about the need to address the homelessness crisis and change zoning to make it possible to build more multifamily housing throughout the city and thereby reduce the cost of housing. Here's a summary of what they said:

I am church of God in Christ Mennonite. They certainly don’t look like Mennonites. Our youth would certainly not have long hair and dress down like that to go before a city Council. There are people who call themselves Mennonite, who look no different than the world. They must be of that type of Mennonite.
1. Higher density housing will never equal fewer cars and less smog. 2. I'm not responsible to foot the bill for people who want more than they can provide. Veterans excluded. 3. Higher density housing will never equal fewer cars and less smog. 4. Anyone can live in a single family home if they apply themselves. Not only Whites. Quit being victims. 5. Living off the Government funds and still not happy. This isn't a socialist country.

Whaaaat a Celebration? A change is in progress right now because I just witness seeing and hearing it . It is moving across Pasadena at the speed of light. It is transforming Pasadena's landscape, housing, laws, hearts and minds of the people. The high resolution of the video was unbelieveable. Glory to God in the highest Glory. Kudos to all who labored relentlessly to create the winds of change.
