This morning I'm grilling some Angus steaks that have beeb marinating overnight. The beef was mechanically tenderized with the sword type device .

Just a quick update on the progress in the garden. Didn't like the taste of the Sugarloaf Escarole. Started new plants from seeds bought on Amazon. I will show their progress in future vids. Cucumbers are delicious as usual. First dish I made was cucumber and onion salad like from the deli. Oh yeah!

Just a quick video to document the progress in my small garden. I haven't cut the grass because it's way too hot. I'll probably get to that tomorrow because it's suppose to rain. A viewer recommended Capt. Jack's for bug control so I ordered a small container of dust to try it out, so far it's working. But so did Sevin dust.

Another look at the plants I put into the ground. Escarole is in pots because of the ridiculous number of slugs in this area. I did put slug and snail killer down and it helped reduce them. I added fertilizer, lime. and bone meal to the soil I used during transplanting.

and so another year of veggies starts. Love those fresh from the garden tomatoes ,peppers , and cucumbers.

Today, May 11,2024 I installed my new garden hose that my son gave me for Christmas. I love it. The post is 4×6×8ft pressure treated which cost about 20 bucks. One bag of quick set cement was about 6 bucks. Took me one morning to accomplish.

Seedlings looking good. Had to transplant cucumbers, they got very tall. If i don't remove them and the moisture sticks the new leaves to the plastic greenhouse they will die. Learned from prior mistake.

Just started my seeds for 2024 harvest. First time trying escarole. I will grow them in a pot in a raised planter.

Here i show the swr on my old RS meter that still works! My Gainmaster had a swr of 2 plus and getting close to 3. I was very hesitant to use my cb for like 4 yrs. Today i spoke to Texas! The needle barely moved when checking swr on 40 and 1. This makes me very happy!. This Cobra 148GTL is very old, maybe 35yrs old. It still works great. The Lafayette SSB 140 is from Ebay , bought as a replacem...
