That is a beautiful and tasteful Rolex. I was lucky enough to get a silver faced OP 41 at my local AD. I was surprised that I received a call from the AD in only 6 weeks. I was initially told that it could take anywhere from 6 months to 3 years! I was pleasantly shocked and surprised! I guess "the "force was with me. " 😊
I don’t know how I did it but I was able to get a Sprite earlier this year from the AD as my first Rolex ever. It was a 6 month wait. Honestly being a new collector, I would have preferred the Bruce Wayne so I could wear it with more clothing. Either way both are beautiful watches.
Wow! You were super lucky to get it as your first Rolex! You must have impressed your AD somehow, lol! Go visit them again and ask for Daytona now, since you've already got Sprite, they will sell it to you.

I just bought my Grey Dial Casio MTP-1302PD, a close homage to this Rolex. Quartz, not Automatic movement but has nice Stainless steel bracelet and date display. I'll have a Jeweler add a Cyclops magnifier. My humble Casio was $48 and will keep perfect time and tips the hat nicely to this awesome Rolex, which I aspire to own someday !
