      I have actually tried this but I could not get the needed strength and precision. Discussed it a lot with the manufacturet, but they could not help me. But I will keep on searching.

    What kind of distortion is happening on the oscillator? Its triangle with reset > clipped > filtered correct?

    Where could we get the raw samples from? Or array of values that you would read from a 6 bit dac, whatever is clever

      The binary files used for the ROMs can be found here: github.com/tkilla64/eurorack/tree/main/misc/roms You can extract the data from them or convert it to a header file that you can include in your program - it depends on what you want to do

    There is a high end midi CV converter that measures the output frequency of the VCO and adjusts the CV accordingly.

      @@serhatdemir2714 No, the Voltio will only produce control voltage signal, not audio from your guitar.

      I need to build my first one. It’s such a dense build so I am a bit intimidated by the silk screen. 😅 Also need to order the special parts. But it sounds great in your video. So really tempted to start.

      I just finished my second one, and it would be near impossible without the ibom - the silkscreen is really difficult to use. It's even hard when you have the ibom as a guide! Best of luck with your build!

      I use a solderpaste with a melting point around 183 degrees C. I don't know the brand (it's chinese)

    2:28 Dedicating a breadboard just for the UI is great. Boards are cheap. You can quickly lay out the interface elements and have them sturdy, then run wires to the other board. Still better than having the knobs and buttons hanging off the main board with wires, getting yanked on when you adjust them.

      I have a cheap "sacrificed" breadboard that I only use for soldering pinheaders onto Arduinos, RPi Picos and component adapters. Sofar the BB have been keeping up quite good - but I try to solder the pins as quick as possible to avoid melting the plastic.

    I have made these for the alpha pots some time ago, after i learned from Mutable Instruments Breadboard friends. also very useful for smd ic, dual match transistors, etc. check out this ic;: APS6404L-3SQR 64 Mega byte pseudo ram, SPI. seemingly used in phones or so. You think it would be possible to bread board 2 of these to join to 16 bit would worK? : )

    Very nice! Clean design too. I have made some as well. Call them Breadboard Buddies. The one one I end up using most is plugging in eurorack supply power in a consistent way.

    A very nice looking print. The control box is a bit over the top for my taste. I once also 3d printed a fume extractor but used a simple toggle switch instead.

      That works fine too - I considered to add a rocker switch somewhere on the extractor hood but couldn't find a good place for it and I also needed to add a 12V power supply, that's why I ended up with a separate control box.
