I could swear this show occurred in August. I say that because my birthday is that month. My friends and I went to this spot that wrongfully donned the name batcave, and hosted this 45 grave show. It was my first time there and I was provided a misleading first impression of this otherwise weak fetishy laserbeam oonce oonce trancy club. I thought it was a legit goth club. For them to use the name batcave would be like a bar to use CBGB's for the sake of the notoriety of the name, play primarily emo or pop music, and not play muchof ANY punk rock at all. Anyhow, I came back the next month, and upon entry, had an interview with a bright lit camera about what I thought of the place. Had they interviewed me by the end of that night, I would've had much different to say. The only postpunk or deathrock they had was shoved all the way to the back alley smoking patio. Everything else was like late 90's rave music.

Wow, I remember when Ingrid was the least attractive, of the group. Now she's right up there. (Not that, that would be attractive in any way). It just makes me thank god for my GF. (These girls make me think I should appreciate her much, much more and that's good). Well, I'm just sayin' time is a bitch. The ugly, and totally un-fuckable, get less so, compared to the other old bags (that have become totally old and un-fuckable) and so how it goes. Well, they ALL look good for 70, just sayin'.

I've always been of this opinion...if you even have the slightest interest in music it's a moral imperitive that you should experience the Residents at least once, cos indeed they are an EXPERIENCE! Absolutely LOVE these guys!
