Hi All,
I created this channel to document my experience moving from a road bike to an adventure bike.
I have ridden on road for about 9 years, with naked bikes. Most of my friends ride road, so the KTM will still see a lot of unrecorded road use.
When it comes to adventure riding, I am an ADV Noob
Picking up new skills, unlearning old habits, and going new places.

KTM 790 Adventure, Arrow Exhaust install and ride

Installed an arrow exhaust on my 790 and took it for a ride. Also took the opportunity to test the cheap ebay windslayer for the GoPro.

Picked up my new KTM 790 Adventure R from a dealer in Central Coast NSW, then ride home via Wisemans Ferry.

You can use safety wire to get the baffle retaining clip out. Just thread it through both holes, then twist the ends together using a pair of regular pliers until it compresses the ends of the clip, then pull it out.

Like DR Riders said, the stock Karoo 3 tires are rubbish in this kinda conditions. Glad you did not hurt yourself, and getting back on the horse is key. Damn, it looks like i fun area to ride in. Cheers
Yeah. I was at the shop the day before this, but my Rallz had not arrived. I have been out again in the dry to gain some confidence back, and they work fine in the dry. I'll replace them before the next run though.
Know all about the feeling when first startet to stand driving. But trust me, you will get so much better at offroad driving when standing. make sure to adjust the handlebar so it is easy for you to shift and brake when you stand riding. Ride safe mate. Nice tracks 🔥Cheers from Norway
I have moved them forward a bit, and rolled them. They feel better now, but i might move them again. Its hard to know where they should be until i get more experience.
@@advnoob2629 Know all about it... Everything feels kinda strange no matter how much or little you adjust. I rised my bar 1.5 cm and rolled it a little, so it is a sweet spot between sitting and standing.
Dude you drive like my grandma , be more agressive on the throttle and change gears at higher RPM i have the same bike but mind is the S it has the stock exhaust but its straight pipe and let me tell that bike SCREAAAAAAAAMS GREAT VIDEO MAN
Lol. My nickname at work is "Grandma" because of my driving. I do ride faster than i drive, but im not going to record that on RUclips. I sold my street bike because i had to admit i'm not a street rossi and it was just way more bike than i needed (Yamaha MT10; so much fun though). The 790 still keeps me happy on street, and takes me places the street bike couldn't
some people dont want to redline their bikes for no reason and wear out the engine at 20k miles buddy
Still running the stock Karoo 3's? For sure you need a good offroad front like the Motoz RallZ, etc. for that slippery stuff. May I suggest finding a nice soft, grassy field and practice balancing while standing both stopped and crawling speed. The better I could balance while standing, the better I was at controlling the bike in tougher conditions.
Yeah, I ordered some rallz but they never arrived in time, so I was still on the karoo's. I do need more practice. Just got the suspension fixed too. I'm a big guy and needed heavier springs

Yeah, I have been riding awhile with it and I think it strikes a good balance between having a nice note, but not being too loud. My previous street bike was loud, and i didnt want that level again.
