@PichDextro I think it's alright. It's a trade-off. It lowers the burst damage from your curse of pain and extends the time before you can reapply it. But it buffs your power of sacrifice damage, and it extends your curse durations, which increases your overall healing.

It's ideal to always perfect skip notes in each song. I haven't played Bard in a while, so I'm rusty.

Good question. I'm honestly not sure, but I'd recommend using him regardless. You'll find better quality items in the lower dungeon regardless, to maximize your AP gains.

Brave hunters are better than cloth pants if the rolls are equal. But good rolls on brave hunter's are much more expensive. Bard has a lot of options for gear, so sometimes you can just look for amazing rolls on off-meta pieces for cheap.

@@glassjaw2007 Haha, yeah against PDR fighter and Barb you'll really want to use your bow to poke them down before going all in on them!

I agree that movespeed is often best, especially for solos. But with this build, offence is my defense. I hit extremely hard, and can also swap to spear and fight in melee with backstep to dodge their attacks.

Longbow is also very good, but I prefer to have more action speed with longbow. This build only has 6.5% action speed. Recurve allows my Quickshot to shoot 3 arrows instead of 2 with the longbow. The Quickshot allows me to get away with such low action speed

I have some secrets that I could share. Would you have any interest in a video outlining how to get the most out of 124 gear score so you can bring more gear in and make yourself as strong as possible?

@@trozers i dont care if its very powerful i just want to play for the fun of it and its tedious to change your gear the whole time. btw i bought it to play normal again but your if you have gear score 130 or 160 in the high roller map the game will refuse your character because your gear score is to low. its even more anoying if you start a new character and can't trade yet

You might be right, but they can't ever go back. If they removed solos, half the players would quit and the game would get review bombed and die. What about an "old school" PT3 playable on the test servers? Now that would be awesome haha

@trozers that's what I want, put pt3 on the test server. Let people experience the original game. At this point with Sdf wanting to return to the original vision they can always go back. But at least bring back pt3 on the test.

I'm used to buying console games as a kid for $60. Adjusted for inflation, that would be hundreds of dollars now. Dark and Darker has many more hours of playability compared to any console game. I understand that elsewhere in the world, the economies can be vastly different

I like mobs in arena, and all of the people I play with also preferred mobs. But most of us wanted the big mobs removed, like the yeti, berserker's, etc. However, if they polled the player base and if the majority vote for 0 mobs, I'm fine doing what the majority wants. Currently there are pretty much only mobs on the first round, seems like a decent compromise at the moment

They killed 125+ normals and I hate it

Most new players will go into HR risking a lot of their money and will face the harsh reality of skilled players that will farm them endlessly there. I find 124 and below to be very enjoyable, and a good lower risk playground for newer players. Check out my other comment to you on how to make building for 124 more effective. No, normals is capped at 124, so timmies will not be getting gear checked nearly as hard as if they went into the old 124+. I think it's likely a good change, but they need more clarity IN-GAME to explain how gearscore works so that newer players understand

It's the Old School Runescape f2p model. Although RS gives about 5% of content for free. Dark and darker gives the full gameplay loop. In sub 124, you can essentially experience all of the games content. You are only limited from being able to experience the full power fantasy of running the best possible gear.

+15 hp would be nice. I might settle for a slight nerf to bows across the board as I find them to be the biggest outlier for feeling oppressive since the HP change

I understand your concern. Autofill always has the issue of bad team mates or trolls. But as long as you are trying each game, you will climb in MMR ladder and leave the bad team mates below you

@@trozers seems like they tweaked autofill a bit. played 10-12 games earlier to get my rank and only had 1 no gear rat in one game. Compared to last weekend i was getting 2 team mates with squire gear 3-4/5 games

Fortunately, it looks like they only spawn on the first round. Unless there's a draw, you get to have no mobs for the rest of the arena game.

f2p was a mistake

Yeah, I can see how that would've been very frustrating for you. Perhaps I should make more 124GS guides as I imagine there would be more demand now with the changes. One tip I'd like to offer you, is to run grey/white weapons. This allows you to wear a very nice blue/green kit in every armor slot including rings and cape, and still remain below 124. This is how the veterans build to be as strong as possible in 124. You'll also often find weapon upgrades in game, so don't worry to much about it. Give this a try and let me know how it goes!

@@rangerfox532 It's not about the fact that the game is now $30 it's the fact that they changed it where if I want to use anything that I spent time getting I need to spend $30. I didn't mind paying for legend status in the first place and I was thinking of buying it now I don't want to since they game pulled a 360 and basically just told me no you can't play all of that time you spent playing is now wasted pay $30 first.

@@ggrj45ter Your perception is weird man. You can still use SOME of the gear you find in every dungeon, you can go up to 124 gearscore. For free. And you can still find upgrades to that gear in that dungeon to use. For free. You can still go practice bossing, and getting gear ready for when you do buy the game. Also for free. Games used to be $50-60 and you didn't get to play it first or get a refund after you opened it, you could trade it in for $15 maybe.

Luckily, they did add that!

I feel you. It sucks to have something, then have it taken away. Leaves a bad taste for sure. I will say, the most effective anti-cheat is banning cheaters and putting up a pay wall to re-enter. Anti-cheats are very ineffective, they are expensive, and often make the game run like crap. They are honestly a waste of money and resources. I wish a better anti-cheat was the solution, but it's just not

it's bc people do it fast and their patches usually suck, this one in particular is bad because of them removing 125+ normal lobbies and they didn't do much of anything else.

I think under 25 gs was made for players who are new, new characters that will soon leave that bracket after 1 game and poor ppl or who dont want to risk anything we should be lowering it to 22 so it cant be optimised by ppl taking jewelrly in not letting new players face players who know how to optimise gs. And there should be def a gs cap on normals around like 250 or 300 but what they did so f2p can only go up to 125 it has to be a mistke.

keep inhaling that copium, this is how a game starts to die. do you see runescape placing more barriers up for f2p players? quite the opposite....

The issue was that with 124+ in normals, there were two of the same gear bracket queues. HR 225+ and normals 124+. This change cuts down on an unnecessary queue. It isn't necessary to bring in 400 gear score into normals, all mobs become fodder who get one shotted. F2P players were also getting stomped in these lobbies by people who could play HR for better gear, then go into the normal lobbies to stomp. The only negative I see is that it may make some free to play players upset.

@@trozers yeah but like in league of legends there are some people who doesn't feel confortable playing on rankeds... they rather to play normals even though they are good players, some people just don't like going into high roller ... and i tried to play yesterday but it felt boring as hell xd in fact i don't want to play the game like this... 125+ loobies were fun... you could play with your friends even if they weren't legendary now...i'd rather to play something else with my friend than suporting sdf trashie vision of the game xd

@@boogietv3458 League ranked is completely different than HR. HR is the same as normals, but the mobs are more difficult and the loot WAY better. And like you say, legendary status only. If you get used to HR, you will become extremely wealthy as the loot is insanely good.
