Robin wanted Lamplight to be the single released on the Odessa album and Barry wanted it to be First of May. Robert Stigwood agreed with Barry and Robin was not happy with the decision. They also have said that there were other forces out there trying to persuade each of them that they could do better without their brothers, and there were articles published that would say that one of them was talking against the other and start an argument that neither of them had anything to do with, but they both got upset about. This put poor Maurice in the middle between them and he ended up doing separate projects with each of them and then went out and recorded his own album but it never was released. it was hard for them to stay separate being that they were brothers and I'm sure their parents got involved too. Thank God they got back their senses and realized they needed each other and that they were all better together. It did give them subject matter for their writing with deeper insight so that it got better as they matured into the phenomenal trio that they became.

I really like this one. I've not delved too much into the solo work, but "In The Now" almost feels a bit like it would have been the next Bee Gee album had we not lost Mo and Robin too soon.

Guy isn’t the voice that belongs to John Farnham lol but he does have one of the best voices I would say not only in Australia but currently anywhere in the world. This is such a great song I remember when it first came out it was popular in the southern hemisphere I believe Daniel was from New Zealand

Adam’s brother said Adam is a glittery alien from the planet Fierce. Carole, you have a good knowledge of music history. This was the night after the Pulse gay nightclub massacre in Florida. You can hear the pain and cry in Adam’s voice. Roger said he had never heard this song sung like Adam sang it that night. Hope you will react to Adam’s own music. I recommend “Closer to You” Live Session from Adam’s album VELVET.

Mo could play guitar, piano,bass, and accordion. He had the best sense of humor. I've never heard this song before. I could see the resemblance to Andy Gibb . Thank you Carole . I'm a reactor surfer and glad . Also a fan of your channel.

Such a sweet song from Mo, he has such a soothing voice I wish he had done more lead. The trafalgar album gets over looked a lot, but has many hidden gems, like "I Don't Wanna Live Inside Myself" and "Lion in Winter". Always love your reactions.

This one is beautiful for sure! Their harmonies always are. I know it's technically past Christmas now, but I see several videos on your page from Elvis. On the PTX Christmas album from 2023 they have a rendition of O Little Town of Bethlehem in which they were able to use Elvis's voice as part of their production. There's no music video for it, just a "Yule Log" video, but I think you'd enjoy it. ruclips.net/video/OmA4SdK9sHQ/видео.html. They did put that one up (as well as 4 other songs from the 2023 album) for consideration for the current Grammys, but they didn't get any nominations this year. (But Scott got a nomination as a solo artist for his song "Rose Without the Thorns"!)

I love it. I had to listen to it a few times to really appreciate it. His voice is a bit deeper on this recording. His 1974 live vocal won me over to it as his voice softened a bit and the emotion was more apparent. I do have both of them in my collection.

Sissel has performed and recorded this piece on several occasions and none of them come close to this presentation which was blessed by the presence of God as well as angels singing with the choir and gracing the hands of those in the orchestra. God inspired the arrangement ... and all of these and the man who wrote the original song heard God's voice ... as did we by listening.

Their voices and harmonies are so good that it’s hard to say which is which.

Her son didn't disappear. She turns her back on her son when he was small and something happened to him. Maybe he drowned or fell off a cliff. It does not say. She disappeared after he died and went into hiding.

This might shock you but this era of Bee Gees is just not my fav (with the exceoption of just a few songs). I can't argue with the song quality and production which are of course great, it's just not to my taste I guess. Maybe I prefer a more unpolished sound? Anway, with that said, I do always love a Bee Gees reaction no matter the song and always appreciate their diversity.
