I live about 40 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake, I wakeboard there every Sunday. I have wakeboarded where those are fishing on Sunday nights.

My great uncle caught a momster there back in the 70's. He went and bought the lot closest to where he caught it that week.

Those lake stripers are beautiful. I catch them in the Chesapeake. Would love to hook one on a lake.

That’s a BABY! Me and my pops have pulled some 27-32 pounders out of Smith Mountain Lake. Ya’ll are’nt doing it right. You gotta go night fishing in April. Bout 2-3am is when the big dogs eat! People have pulled 50-80 pound stripers out of that lake. True story. This fish in this video was MAYBE 12 pounds. Like I said…a baby

We have some giants in our lake. Nothing better than throwing a thunder stick at night in the spring I have caught some 20& 30 lbs the big ones are hard to catch. I remember April nights where in a couple we would catch 15 to 20 in couple hours all you need is a f 18 Vampire the cliffs were the spot, however it’s not like it used to be.
