Dustin: good video, and thank you. However, it’s just very SHORT!!! Would you please make another showing the wipers working hazards (4-ways) maybe even hit that horn a time or two…?! While it’s running, I’d like to hear it idle with your camera near the engine, Sir. Im a Veteran and I’m looking for a retirement toy. A little disabled so I won’t be able to work on one like I’ve always dreamed I could and this one’s looking like it would be just what I’ve always needed at this stage of my life. I’m vintage and this looks like it was born for me too.

Saw this truck in person looks way worse, a 4 year old could have done a better paint job and there were a lot of smaller dents that you cannot see. Someone just painted over the front and rear axle with no prep, you can just wipe the paint off because they painted right over ales on mud. And if I had to bet this truck has every bit of 400k miles on it .

Even 2019 has the rattle?
It is the wastegate rattle and you can work around the problem by cycling through different drive modes and put in dynamic when the rattle goes away. If you start the car while in dynamic the rattle is there. So the key is to literally cycle through back to dynamic. Let me know if this helps. I do this every morning so it isn't that loud. There is a noticeable difference between dynamic and all the other modes.

No the power of the engine is to much for the transmission the reason why the duamax does so well is because the engine is to weak to hurt its transmission

@@YourDadsBoyfriend no the speed sensor on these is on the diff, so it couldn't have been tranny slip. Plus these transmissions are solid as rocks. It's the 2nd gen transmissions that fail
@@gdcatalyst7812 just admit all autos in a ram cummins suck balls. Don't matter where the speed sensor is located for a trans to slip. Wasn't judging slip by the speedo... you can hear the lag while attempting to shift
@@YourDadsBoyfriend I think what you're hearing is it shift and kick the wheel speed up. Then when it starts to grab it sounds like it hesitates a little. Once it has grip it sounds totally fine. We have 2 of these trucks where I work doing drain and field tile. One is stick and one is auto. One is a 6.7 and the other is a 5.9. Now the auto isn't as good as the nv5600 but it's a pretty good transmission. It lasted us 15000 miles and the manual lasted around 25000 if I remember right
