You did not miss anything. This figure is not based on any of the Kerberos movies, rather on the extended universe. That's why the protect gear looks so different. Basically that's just a random Nazi soldier from the Russia campaign. I short: Nazis won World War 2 and occupied Japan. Japan kinda inherited the gear from the Nazis. That's why it does look very Wehrmacht like in the movies.

Mine the wrist joints were too brittle, couldn't mess with them at all. They all broke, none of the other figures from them were like that.

I forgot how much stuff Neca used to make. They were really pumping out all kinds of movie figures. Unfortunately now they have pushed the brakes on production and are like 95% focused on Ninja Turtles only. I miss the good ol days when you can get figures from Pirates of the Caribbean to Kill Bill to Sin City to a full line of figures from the Hellraiser movies.
