Bonjour, j'ai 54 ans et je me suis mi au surfskate depuis peu, mais aussi au skate (hybride) pour pouvoir faire de longues balades. Je n'ai pas la passion en revanche pour faire une chaîne sur RUclips "apprendre le surfskate après 50 ans" par exemple. Je compte sur toute l'aide et conseils pour que je puisse prouver que c'est possible de faire du skate à tout age et aussi évoluer. Ps : j'avais tout de même fait un peu de surf entre mes 20 et 30 ans et du longboard en descente jusqu'à 40 ans. Je savais bien slider. merci pour cette vidéo qui m'encourage. SYLVAIN😉

Good job on skating the squirely iest boards in the world. Those things are hard to ride fast, ,...... Get a skateboard with indy 169, 1/2 inch riser pads, 65 mm slimeball 95a, and a 9.5 or 10 inch wide deck (Scram boards are nice) (no powell boards).

really nice video! but one thing id advise - fix the stance. knee of back leg should be lower, at an angle - your knees are almost parallel, which means your torso is turned to one side only. this makes speed generation and turning much harder, and you will notice this especially when surfing on the backside.

Thanks for your touching and inspired video. I’m a newbie on surfskate at age 36 and this video courages me a lot to try more until I can flow with this skate.

I have had a longboard to go at Uni between 2007 and 2012. Just discover the surfskate and i bought one for my 38 😍 so great to be back on a board 😋

Enjoyed watching your progression and commitment. 54 and I alternate between a regular popsicle board, a long board, a tiny Penny Board and a new YOW surfskate. I wish we had more pump tracks and larger skateparks in Melbourne like the ones in your video.

Great work in learning how to skateboard. I whole heartedly agree with the other people who have commented regarding age. Don't ever let your age from stopping you from trying new things in life. Im 57 years old and crashed my mountain bike in Tasmania breaking my elbow, cracked rib and my arms were out of action for weeks. People say I shouldn't have been doing this but I tell you the ride I was having up until the moment of my crash was fast and furious and awesome. I also cruise on my long board skateboard along the path near the beach for fun too. Don't worry about what other people think, just have fun, stay active and chill. Peace to everyone out there.

Según lo que yo veo los lados tienen que estar mas asequibles parar el patinete y patinador para dar una tranquilidad y seguridad , pues si algo no sale no pasa nada , dentro de lo común que pueda ser una caída infortuita , para poder corregir el fallo y no tener que estar una semana en casa con un brazo roto o herida , el pasarlo bien no esta en hacerse daño si no disfrutar con bastante seguridad , emoción tranquilidad y control dentro de unos términos donde la experiencia nos ira dando mas grados de inclinaciones con seguridad para una sensación distinta con cada nivel que vallamos adquiriendo

59 and have skated off and on. Son and I skated and he left us years ago and I only skated a few times a year after that. Got back into it a month or so ago. Got a surfskate adapter and I'm hooked. My wife who has never skated, started about 20 days ago. She is 49. (29 😊 )
