I've tried the Velvet Oud and can testify for your review. It is EXTREMELY close to the Ombre Leather. This is a very potent leather focused perfume that has a lasting aroma. Love it!

I’m really sad that they discontinued it

I bought it recently "blind" because the description looked interesting. They had no way to test first there. Once outside I tried it and was disappointed. It reminded me of a cheap EDT with lots of cardamom. It smelled a bit "Indian" I thought but even then in a cheap synthetic way. Now ten days later, I like it when it has dried down and soft, rounded, sweet, spicy notes are more prominent. I seem to smell something now also present in the original Joop. Those liking oriental perfumes like Jaipur will like it. Me, I am no longer thinking it was a mistake but I still certainly don't recommend this as blind buy.

Stop laying to people! Are u sponsored av lattafa or getting ur perfumes for free? Opulent oud is shit, smells good for 2 minutes, and then is gone! Just water 💦 nothing else, it last like the perfume u buy in a grocery store for 5€…. 😩
