Collecting Field Data Using Free and Open Source Software: Input and QGIS
There are two new options for field data collection related to QGIS named Input/Mergin and QField, and both will be introduced in this webinar. Each app runs on both iOS and Android. Since they are free to use, offer great functionality, and can be used on any platform, they are the recommended field data collection apps for Community Health Mappers. Due to time constraints, this webinar will focus on Input. You will see how to set up a typical data collection form using QGIS. You will also learn to use the Mergin plugin to move data back and forth between a computer and a mobile device. How can I add Easting, Northing and Elevation to attributes form? How can I configure it?
VEry useful video. I have a couple of questions. Is it possible to use WMS in Qfield so I should not download any images to the project? IS it possible in the attributes give variants to choose that I should not write in the field the tekst I can just shoose from the list.

Hi, when I install the Mergin plugin, it doesn´t appear in the browser!! Any idea why that is??
Did you try to restart QGIS?
@@saberrazmjooei7141 That´s what I ended up doing, I had QGIS 3.12 installed, I upgraded to 3.14 and the problem is over. Probably a bug in the install! Thanks!
Can Input be called from an ODK data collection form?
