Got to know his work thru his collab with Behrens and went away very impressed with his other works. Nicely detailed movements and very unique dial aesthetics, definitely keeping a close eye on his releases!

Nice video… but…. Is it mandatory amongst independent watchmakers not caring to speak another language than French? Francois Paul Journe, Philippe Dufour and here Vianney Halter, not interested in spending some time to speak at least a little bit of English. Is it laziness or arrogance, I don’t know. Your clientele are all over the world.
Vianney speaks good English actually. We just wanted to use French for this interview to be able to discuss complex matters more freely. As for French-speaking watchmakers in general, their job is to make watches, ours is to translate the passion.
