Nicely put and agree! He sacrificed himself in many levels, for his principles and ideals, for a life and generally for the good of humanity and Transformers in a grander scale! I like these discussions!

I hear ya - it’s really big for sure. And the more they come out with these HasLabs, the less space there is! Hard to throw them in a bin like the old 1/18’s also!

I know - what a crossover! Someone put a good alternate version up where Sonic was in Blurr’s alt mode! Constructicons were always my number one as well, though will be nice to have Superion bc didn’t have him or any of the Aerialbots as a kid!

I hear ya! If it was a bit bigger, less “connectors” and had a proper sized trailer then it’d be much harder for me decide. But since I’m a sucker for G1 and he has that amazing trailer and generally bigger, I have to go with 86 😃 . Think you’ll get him anyway in the end?

True. It’s funny you said that because when I was a kid I loved the figure and toy. As I got older and became a collector, specifically in the 2000’s when they started releasing the new 1/18 25th and 30th versions, I only wanted more realistic Joes and Cobras and combined them with the realistic third party vehicles. With Classified, I totally got back into the whole lot of them again for the pure GI Joe and Cobra characters and vehicles. Totally appreciate them again just like I did as a kid!

Yeah - it’s very rare for Hasbro to make them this way recently. I feel Alternators were really the last of this type other than Masterpiece. And you’re right, third parties have been where it’s at for smooth vehicle modes. Honestly, every time I pick KITT up I can’t believe how good it looks…

Thanks man! I was surprised that it was such a good figure as well! I can totally see them doing o-ring scale one day - they really just have to scale it up, all the tooling is there already (though they’d have to make a space for the driver). I love that they put the lights in as well - they didn’t have to. Ecto-1 is an awesome x-over as well, right up there with this one. I feel they could have done a better job on the Back to the Future one but I like that it’s in scale with the other toys! 🤘

You know what - I didn’t even think about it that way! I totally divided them up into robot and KITT personalities in my mind! That Ghostbusters Prime IS awesome - it was a fun one to pick up…I wish I got the Masterpiece Ghostbusters Prime a few years back though, but couldn’t justify shelling out the cash for another Masterpiece Prime at the time 😂

Let’s just assume they came up with some extra strong materials with Destro’s money and ingenuity to protect the HISS driver to at least get off a few good shots 😉 Did you end up getting one? Earthrise was great during its time (minus the trailer), but glad to hear that you made the move to SS86 OP because he really is like you now know such an awesome figure! Right up there as a mini-Masterpiece imo! I bet you wonder how you ever held off now that you have him, right? 😉

Not my cup of tea. It’s hard to go to that from SS86 OP! For one it’s too small. It also seems cheaper in a way. I am hoping the other releases from that line are better and more in line with the SS86 line and other recent ones. I’d love to see that car ground soldier in the style of runamuck/runabout for example. There could be some really good hidden gems from that line so we’ll see! How about you?

@heroicnonsense1 I think I agree wholeheartedly. I and many others were expecting the devastation line would be repaints of figures like the earthrise coneheads and such. I was hoping to get a cell shaded kingdom mirage but if they're all gonna be these new molds with worse engineering than what came before I might avoid the line entirely.

Agreed…I’m hoping some retools of better figures or at least some of the new designs being nicer. So far - not very confident! We’ll have to wait and see…separately - if they make nemesis prime or any alternate version of SS86 OP - are you going to get those? I hope they do at least one repaint with the trailer…

You weren’t able to preorder it? I almost lost the chance - found it for a second when it went back-up on I think Pulse. Not there anymore. This was not a fun one to pre-order! I’ll keep an eye out!

I hear ya. I recently missed the GI Joe classified Nemesis Immortal even though I was on right at the time it was released on Hasbro Pulse, same with the new constructicons though a friend was able to grab me Nemesis and I found the constructicons on another site. Most of the time I try to be on as soon as a figure is released and have multiple sites open of retailers who are selling it just so I don’t miss it - it’s extremely stressful. I hope you’re able to get it. I feel BigBadToyStore usually gets them for the US and Toy Snowman for Canada and have them for a while up for preorder/purchase.
