I had this documentary on vhs. My dad recorded it on a cassette tape from our local PbS station. I watched it so many times as a kid that I wore the tape out. I wish someone could explain to me why people climbing thesouth side half to spend several days climbing to base camp or they can get really sick if they were ( to say ) take a chopper to basecamp. However people can actually drive right to base camp on the north side. Or thats what ive heard.
