The commentators having no idea how the deck they're commentating on works feels pretty typical of Magic coverage these days. Both not knowing how Neoform works, and not catching that pacts had been used were both pretty big whiffs. And they knew the decklists ahead of time? Surely someone should have sat them down and explained the combo before the match? And then we see 14 minutes of just incredibly boring, uninteractive magic. Modern is in such a terrible state these days.

In this meta you HAVE to play 4 Kozileks Return in your 75 as a minimum. Even better also 1-2 pyroclasms and you have a much different game vs energy.
