Thanks, The Loyalsock is great when the trout are rising, super clear, only downside is you occasionally get rafters and swimmers from the state park.

@pabackwoods5330 ahhh yeah nobody's been catching trout around here lately. My dad's been catching some nice bass though on the lake in Pine Grove 👌

I normally go north, there's so many streams, nice scenery and cooler temps for trout.

Ok teaching moment, there are some streams that are tourist attractions and “known” to the world. Those streams I have no problem giving names out. However for quality water a little off the beaten path I don’t normally give out names because it’s rewarding to find some of these places. I will say that the stream in the video is in Tioga county PA and listed on the PA stream map as a stocked stream. Almost every stream in that county has its own kind of special beauty and I highly recommend doing research and finding places to go.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video, If you rewatch it at the beginning, you'll notice my elbow is covered in mud and dirt because I went for a ride down the rocks prior to filming, that's why I take my time getting down the rocks to net those first couple of fish. Maybe in the future I'll start including my Bloopers at the end.

@@mistercarpenter5895 I only have 1 camera at the moment. It takes a little more set up time but looks nicer. I’m hoping to get an actual camcorder and tripod soon to set up wide angles and zoom footage.

These were highlights from the June videos from Sullivan county PA. This coming month I have several videos planned, they’re shorter but I’m very happy with the way the footage came out. I’m currently at my cabin in Sullivan county for the weekend and we had some surprise rain and water temps were surprisingly good 58-62 degrees so we went 9 miles up a brookie stream yesterday

Its a lot of fun if you ever get into it. Don't let the snobs and elitists scare you away from fly fishing there are many ways to get started and a lot of styles to pursue.

The infamous illustrious life of Jared Blass would make a good reality show, kind of like the Truman show but not funny.

Yes It was a native, wasn’t able to film the hook up but he was so colorful I couldn’t let the release go to waste. Honestly we kept a couple for a fish fry at the cabin because some of those large trout were in a brookie stream. I reused the footage on the big one frenchy released on the one I kept in this video to be more cinematic.

Its a stream etiquette thing, if the fisherman next to you catches a fish, you offer to net it for them. Since we're all friends here we just do it automatically without thinking. On the practical filming side, by netting the fish from others who work on these videos, they can keep fishing while I arrange the camera for the underwater releases.

I've even netted fish for complete strangers on the water, but I always ask them first if they need help before I do it.
