Can anyone remember where they were when they first heard If It Isn't Love? I remember being in my car in front of my house on a May morning in 1988. I remember the driving beat , but as soon as I heard Ralph's indistinguishable voice, I knew they had a new song out. It wasn't the bubble gum sound that we were used to hearing, but it was a mature fresh updated R&B sound. I just remember having a shit eating grin on my face bopping to the music.
