A normal dental visit just getting her teeth floated so she doesnt have pain anymore such a good girl reba took it like a champ
For people who don't know, it's part of regular Healthcare for horses. When they float horses teeth, they're grinding off the sharp edges that can be a real problem, especially as they age. They usually give them a mild tranquilizer. A good equine dentist is gold. When I started working with horses professionally, they used big files. No tranquilizers and nothing to hold open their mouths . That was 55 years ago. We've come a long way baby LOL.😊❤❤❤
The horse doesn't know , but he is one lucky horse 😊

@@mariearmstrong9185 The end result of not taking proper care of their teeth is far worse than this I assure you. This is a necessary step, like taking your kids to the dentist (if your kid wore a saddle and weighed 1200lbs!).

It sure sounds and looks like it would be painful! But at the end of it all, once the sedative has worn off, she was right back to her happy healthy self! You know there isn't much if any pain when they go right to eating after haha

The teeth can have sharp edges that can cut the tongue and cheeks. If the surfaces are not level it can affect their ability to process their food and cause poor nutrition and digestive functions.
