Great detail

Hey, this was really great! I have anxiety, and knowing every detail of something I need to do ahead of time helps me a *lot*, so watching this is helping calm me down quite a bit before a flight next week.

Most of the time, similar views with downtown and the water behind it are often captured on the right side of the planes when traffic flows to the south, though cloud cover is sometimes too low. To give you an idea, planes usually fly directly over the Seattle University campus, which is directly behind the skyline from your vantage point, and lined up exactly with runway 16R at SEA. You were quite far to the right of the airport for the majority of this approach, and probably intercepted the normal flight path near BFI, which was the first airport you flew over just before touching down. You probably experienced a slight right turn around that point.

Yep! I collect diecast models of some of the aircraft I've been lucky enough to be on!

They still don't normally as far as I know, even on this type of aircraft. My best guess is the first officer was in training, or the captain was under review, or something of that sort.

Many of our routes have a f.o., the longer runs epically. Montana and Midwest, unless there isn't one available

I took an Air Canada A330 to SFO! Takeoff and landing were both at night time so the quality is pretty bad, but you can still find that flight in my old clips playlist! :)

I would love to, but they are quite out of the way for me, and a bit pricey. I'm working on getting myself on a floatplane though!

@@PlaneStuffnThings Harbour Air is much better known and more accessible, they do regular scheduled flights from Vancouver to Victoria, Nanaimo, and other seasonal destinations like Whistler and Tofino as well.
