My goodness I found this so incredibly beautiful. Technique is perfect. The etudes are not easy.
Good ideas on how to get the music to speak. Thank you. Great piece.
Love this perfect combination of virtuosity, lyricism, thoughtfulness, emotion, artistic intelligence, culture - together producing the kind of wise performance that brings out everything out of these etudes that's tender and satisfying to the soul. Thank you for your contribution to music.
@@sasha42196 thank you for your generous comment!
Magnificent performance! Thank you for the opportunity to let us hear to such a beautiful rendition of the studies op. 25 by Chopin. It really feels an uplift of the soul!
Stunning voicings
Wow, this is one of the most beautiful performances I have ever heard of these etudes!! What incredible artistry and insight! Ms. Penney’s, thank you so much for sharing your incredible work with us. ❤❤❤❤
@@josecubela9642 thank you so much for your generous comments !!
Was a Good Performance and then the last 5 Seconds ruined it. What a Sloppy Finish avoiding any Timing rushing them last Chords Saw Evgeny Kissin at The Royal Albert Hall play this and nothing has compared since
Beautiful interpretation. I really enjoy how you play ‘scherzo’. Some interpretations play the scherzos with the pounding of the ballades. This is quite the opposite. Also I really appreciate the way you contrast the minor response to the major descending arpeggios theme. It’s as if Chopin is creating a response here to the earlier major theme.
I love the clarity of your interpretation! Brava 👏👏👏
Very calm, translucent, lyrical and musical. The use of rubato is remarkable!
This piece is filled with the sweetest and most sincere love in all of Chopin's work. Even after 16 years of playing it, I still can't stop and keep returning to it again and again. P.s. Maestra Rebecca is, as always, brilliant.❤
Bravo 👏
Sublime
Best Op. 25 no. 1 I ever heard, even though I haven't listened to many.
What a pedal whispering : true impressionistic sense ! Thank you, Rebecca for such majic….
Una deliziosa performance., in un'esecuzione delicata e PARADISIACA💖👍!

As a jazz pianist this was very pleasing to watch/listen to. Amazing performance. Really enjoyed her sound. 🔥 #YupYup
Delightful approach with the student! Anything put out by Rebecca Penneys is worthwhile, I've noticed - especially her playing! Thank you!
A true Maestra
a very original and fascinating interpretation, in which feeling and reason magically coexist and give us the truly profound Chopin
Thanks so much!!!
She goes on a bit….picky picky
Nicely played. But I did not fall asleep
lol!!!❤
Hermoso! 💐
Couldn't stop listening! Everything is so beautiful, natural, profound, charming, personal... Perfect execution, too! Infinite colors, nuances, representing emotional responses to the music. Lots to learn. Even the choice of fingering is amazing. Thank you very much for posting! It is a treasure.
I appreciate your comments so very much!
Very beautifully played Beethoven! ♥
Poetic , lyrical and poignantly musical as always .Thank you
Thank you so much!
Delightful Chopinesque Playing, Rebecca Penneys! Chopin's multifaceted shading of moods and love of polyphony, chromaticism and long cantilena phrasing, with his natural delicate touch and ease of caressing the keys all revealed here. Many thanks for channeling his musical personality and gifting your Chopin playing to us!
Thank you so much for your generous comments!!
Thank you for sharing these. Elegant and subtle artistry! I'm reminded of Martha Goldstein.
This lady gives back to the etudes what thousands of pianists have stolen: their poetic character. Have you ever heard the thirds played like that? That‘s how we should imagine these jewels played by Chopin or his best pupils. I do not remember having been moved to tears when listening to those pieces.
Your comments are so generous & kind! Thank you ❤
never heard a polonaise by Beethoven. I am amazing
Una Señora PIANISTA. Con una gran escuela y poseedora de una musicalidad extraordinaria.❤

Schönes Rubato und feine Agogik, musikalisch sehr schlüssig und schön gespielt - eine Entdeckung! 💙
First heard this at Chautauqua almost 30 years ago! My beloved mentor! JCoo here
Don't remember!! LOL
Very nice
Lovely playing as always. It's nice to hear pieces that aren't played much like this. Unmistakably Ludwig. I think it was Rachmaninoff that said "music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music". Thank You Rebecca for bringing this to us. BTW, it occurred to me with it's Op.# 51 being just before the Waldstein that it must have been written far earlier. It just sounds that way. More Mozart-Haydn influenced perhaps? Regards.
Appreciate your comments !!
❤🙌
What an inspiration! Thank you so much!
Would love to see you perform Chopin Op 67!!! 🙏🙏
And Op 68 😊
🙏🙏🙏
Dear lord, that Op 25 no 2 is just gorgeous.
I was mesmerized through this entire performance. I thought your playing was perfection when I knew you in the seventies, but this is perfection to the nth power!
Delightful.😊
Lovely! Thank you for posting.❤
13:07 Is this waltz (No. 10 in G major) quoting Scarlatti's sonata in D minor, K.9/L.413 or just a coincidence?
hard question to answer!
Incredible! A beautiful interpretation AND fantastic display of technique. The choreography and physical hand/arm coordination makes it look effortless. I wish I had this technique, it looks and sounds so natural.
♥️🙌
