Check out my link for a large crochet dog hat here: How to Crochet A Large Dog Beanie Easy and Beginner Friendly ruclips.net/video/zO8QgE3SAqs/видео.html. You can always go up or down a hook size to customize the size of the crochet dog beanie. If your dog had a really large head you could add one more increase round. Just measure the space between the ears for better accuracy. Thanks so much for the comment ❤️

      How much does your dog weigh? I also have a video on my channel for a small. I’ll post the link for the small. Our corgi is about 28 pounds and it is a tiny bit snug on him.

      Sorry, I was still new to filming. I have tried to slow down some and explain my stitches a little more. Thanks for the comment though.

    At 6:00 you say repeat pattern but what does that mean like so we repeat the single crotchet or the double crotchets?

    • @montanacrochetcreations
      @montanacrochetcreations 9 месяцев назад

      Usually when I say repeat pattern it’s for different stitches. Example, 2 DC in one stitch and 1 DC in the next stitch. You would repeat the pattern of 2 DC, 1 DC all the way around. I’m not sure what the stitches were at 6 min in. My guess is that it was still an increase round and you would repeat the stitch pattern all the way to the end.

    Won’t these get wet? And you need skip proof on bottom

      Hi, when I made them for pickle it was -40f outside. I couldn’t find dog booties in his size because everyone was sold out. I had to improvise real fast. He couldn’t even go out to pee because it was so cold that his little piggy paws would instantly start freezing. You could definitely add a piece of leather or something to the bottom if you wanted. The purpose was for sub zero temperatures not rain or anything like that. We took them off as soon as he came back inside and laid them flat to dry. It worked perfect for the situation at the time. Thanks for the comment!

    Thank you for the great pattern. Is it 5mm hook (video) or 5.5mm (description)? How many stitches go into the arm holes? How many stitches go in between the arm holes? Sorry, ink about half done and I'm stuck on this stuff.

      Hi, I believe I did use a 5mm crochet hook for this particular sweater. If you further baby is a little on the chunky side like our pickle you could easily go up to a 5.5mm hook. As far as the arm holes go, you will place a stitch into each one of the chains you created on the previous round. Hope this helps. Happy new year! 😃

    Hi Nikki, thank you for the lovely tutorial! Do you think this size will fit my 39 pounds corgi dog?

      Hi @minhanhbui863, thank you so much for the comment. I would suggest going down a crochet hook size. That should make it small enough to fit your corgi. 😀
